"Even though I had asked many questions about airport transfers and late check-outs before the trip, the accurate and prompt answers made me feel very at ease. Although it was about 3 hours from the airport, when I arrived at the hotel (oceanfront villa), the greenery and sea spread out in front of me, and it was a great location. During my stay, I could go directly to the beach and pool from my room, and there was a shower outside the room to wash off the sand, which was convenient as it was connected to the bathroom. For meals, we were transported by cart from the villa to eat while looking at the sea. There was a wide variety of menus, and we could order single items from the course, which was very delicious with a taste that Japanese people like. The staff were elderly and my husband and I were not good at English or using apps, but they always smiled and helped us until we understood. As an option, we went to a private island owned by the hotel. It was a quiet island about 40 minutes by boat with the food and drinks we ordered at the hotel. We had planned to go snorkeling, but unfortunately we had to return earlier than planned due to the rain. The golf course was about 30 minutes from the hotel, and we were able to play smoothly by asking the staff to make a reservation. I stayed for three nights and was able to relax very well. Although it was inconvenient because there was nothing nearby to go shopping, spending three days surrounded by nature in a quiet place was very refreshing, especially since I usually live in a noisy environment. Thank you very much."

"An otherwise pleasant stay ruined by somewhat incompetent communication surrounding a private transfer booked through the hotel. For those booking a private transfer through the hotel it’s worth knowing the following: 1) this is a third party arrangement and as such whether it is “private” or not is at the discretion of the third party 2) In the event that a transfer is not private, the hotel does not appear to need or feel it necessary to inform you. This situation happened to me when leaving the island, having checked out early and being informed by reception which was my boat, I departed the island on said boat only to be made to turn around 90% into the journey as there was supposed to be another passenger. The hotel simply said this was the third party decision and whilst they were aware of it on the day, had not informed me (resulting in me traversing the stretch of water multiple times). All in all this was the cherry on an otherwise miscommunication-strewed cake (they never mentioned the private transfer had to be paid in cash, and they miscommunicated breakfast would start at 6:30 when in reality it is 7:30). On the plus side, the location is good for dive shops and the food was nice. However, I wouldn’t personally recommend this place to family or friends."

"The hotel 'Buena Vida' is a few minutes' walk from the beach, but works closely with other establishments right on the beach. For example, you can have breakfast at the 'Ocean Vida' by the beach. The hotel is clean, has a small spa and a small gym. The staff is nice. There is a great Crossfit box near the hotel. There are several diving schools right on the beach, including the Sea Explorers. A really great diving school where we did several dives."
