"The hotel is safe, with security guards at the entrance. The rooms are simple but spacious. The buffet breakfast is average. The highlight is the unlimited papaya, pineapple, and watermelon. Apart from the front desk, the other staff in the guest rooms and restaurant do not speak English (only Spanish). There is a water dispenser at the end of the corridor on the left, despite signs in the rooms indicating that Costa Rica is one of the few Latin American countries where tap water is directly drinkable. Additionally, the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to the nearby shopping district, which needs to be booked with the front desk."

"We had a terrible experience and I would never recommend this place. They said they had Internet and it never did work. We didn’t have hot water for three days and they couldn’t fix it. There was bird poop all over the beds. nobody was able to fix anything. the management would not respond and it’s just a very poorly run place. Do not stay here!!!! Pure disaster Management is invisible and cannot be contacted. I've sent them many messages and they refuse to respond anyone. Employees at the location and via say that it's in the hands of management to resolve, but cannot help me. You do not want to go here. Only stayed 1 terrible night and still charged the full $300. Thiefs and cowards."
