"When we reached in Lira we were disappointed by many hotels apart from we Lair Trasha hotel it has the best bed rooms and their bed if you sleep on them you feel like you want to sleep their forever and their food was very delicious that we even wanted to eat every time."

"This is our second stay at Brownstone Country Home on the outskirts of busy Lira. It is an oasis of cool and calm. The road is fine with only a short distance on unmade road (about 10 minutes). Individual thatch huts are situated in the garden. Our room was a double bed room ensuite with a seating area. The room rate was 80USD including breakfast. It is good value and on par with other accommodation locally. George owns and runs the estate farm, Julie looks after the guests and cooks meals. Meals are very good. We chose fried tilapia with rice and veggies for supper, Spanish omelette for lunch, plus a flask of hot water for tea and a French press for coffee whenever you need it. Everything is clean and tidy and the garden is well maintained. The only noise comes from the farm animals during the day and the cicadas at night."

"The customer service is great. The hotel is clean. It’s only my first night but I am so impressed with the service. There is some nearby noise but this could be due to festive season. The grounds here are spacious and well looked after. "

The cottages are clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a relaxing retreat from the hustle and bustle. The surrounding area is peaceful, and the natural setting makes it a perfect spot to unwind. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful with local tips and guidance. Everything from the room amenities to the service made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Simbego Cottages, Lira to anyone visiting the area. Definitely a place I’d love to return to!"
