Lilienberg

Lovely and quiet during off season. Staffs are super friendly. The pool was a little small though.

The hotel is very nice, located with great view over lake Konstanz. Friendly staff, nice indoor pool, very cosy rooms with balconies. Breakfast was very delicious!

What a wonderful place. Beautiful buildings, gardens and setting on Lake Constanz, Ermatingen. Close to the train if you want to go downtown Zurich or Constantz, Germany Excellent food and service. Immaculate rooms and grounds. The hosts were amazing! Such a delight!

We spent a long weekend at Lilienberg in September. I was very impressed. The facilities were all topnotch. Our room was large and beautifully decorated in a modern style and looked out over the lake. The shower was amazing - perfect water pressure and impeccably clean. The hotel's gardens are beautiful as well. I can only imagine what they might look like earlier in the season. I wandered around a bit and came upon a substantial kitchen garden, which supplies Lilienberg's restaurant. We did have one dinner at the restaurant and it was excellent, as was the service. The breakfast was delicious too and included a variety of meats cheeses, yogurts, cereals, eggs, fruit and amazing bread. The other evenings we ate at local restaurants which were good as well. Ermatingen is a very walkable town and with the lake right there Lilienbeg is a lovely place to spend a long weekend to reset and recharge. We will certainly visit again.

My wife and I are from the US and stayed at Lilienberg for three nights in mid-September. We really enjoyed it and highly recommend a stay here. We had a bright room looking out over the lake. The room was extremely clean (as was everything at Lilienberg) and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning. The buffet had many high-quality options — eggs, fruit, meat and cheeses — as well as an excellent coffee machine. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and had an excellent meal —- fresh local fish and vegetables and Swiss wine. Highly recommend eating on the outdoor patio. We ate at local restaurants the other two nights (walking distance) and enjoyed those as well. The grounds of the hotel were magnificent — well-manicured and extremely clean. Although we did not use the indoor pool, it looked beautiful. The hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. While we were at the hotel on a personal trip, we saw some of the conference facilities — all looked state-of-the-art and well-maintained. Lilienberg also offered a good jumping-off point to view the area — we went to Stein am Rhein and Säntis by car. We look forward to coming back to the area and staying at Lilienberg.
