We booked a Jr. Suite with one bed. Once we arrived, we were told that we were upgraded to a master suite (yay!!!). The suite was awesome, the service was excellent, and we were treated like royalty. Will definitely stay again!

We had the most wonderful experience here at El Cielo, having came for a wedding, we enjoyed it very much. The venues for welcome party, wedding and reception were very well staffed and attentive to our family, and the food was excellent. I do wish to return as we didn't have time to explore the wine cellar or wine and chocolate pairing activities. The pool and exercise facilities were well kept and the water was warm in November! Finally, the chapel there is beautiful and I am so happy with the wedding planner here Nayeli who did an excellent job, wow. Efrain and lobby staff , thanks so much, hope to see you again.

Location was easy to get to from San Diego! Atmosphere was perfect for a short girls getaway, we stayed in one of the double bed suits and they were so comfy!! The view was so pretty and the pool was amazing. It was quiet and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and all around was so worth the trip! Will definitely be back. Thank you!!

The rooms at El Cielo Resort have beautiful views of the grounds and all the buildings are clean. See the view from our room— it’s lovely! We also spent some time at the winery, which is a five-minute drive from the resort. We enjoyed a chocolate and wine tasting in their barrel room.

The beds are incredibly comfortable and the choice of nespresso pods was good. The lights in the bathroom are terrible for putting makeup on. Pool is nice. Having the bottled water was great. There is literally nothing nearby so there should be a place to buy things like fruit to snack on, toothpaste and toiletries . Having to call or request a shuttle for everything is a hassle but with all the dust you can’t just walk around. Also replenishments at the breakfast buffet were slow and inconsistent. Nice to have a church for Mass on Sunday.
