"We stayed here one night prior to heading into the boundary waters. This was a very pleasant stay! The rooms were big and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and overall I felt like it was good value for a decent stay. The breakfast in the morning was perfectly adequate - nothing special, but the eggs were real (rather than from powder) and I enjoyed that. All in all, would recommend."

"We traveled with a group on motorcycles and the owner was wonderful to work with on reservations. She was very patient with our large group and answered all of their questions regarding restaurants, etc. We stayed in one of the larger rooms and it was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is great for walking downtown or driving to local sites. It is one of the few hotels in the area that allows a one night stay and gets good reviews. I would stay there again."
