The hotel met our requirements even when there was an issue with the bathroom they sorted it immediately by changing our room and were very apologetic.

The Staff at checking in was super nice. I accidentally booked a mobility king room. She was nice enough to switch me to a standard double queens, without any additional charge. The room was clean and beds are comfy.

This was by far one of the worst Marriott-branded stays I’ve experienced. We booked this hotel for a wedding and didn’t arrive until 10:30 PM on Friday. The man at the front desk was rude and dismissive—not only to us, but to other guests checking in as well. When we finally got to our room, we were shocked. The bed sheets and blankets were ripped, several lamps had no bulbs, the TV didn’t work, and the entire room was visibly dirty. By midnight, we had no choice but to return to the front desk to request a new room. Even then, the staff acted as though they were doing us a favor, insisting they were “fully booked.” They weren’t—there weren’t even enough cars outside to fill one floor. The issues didn’t end there. The outdoor pool was unusable, hallways had active leaks with multiple wet floor signs, and only one elevator was semi-functional—and it sounded like it wouldn’t last much longer. Overall, the staff seemed uninterested in helping and lacked basic hospitality. To top it all off, at 7:30 AM on checkout day, the fire alarm went off. We rushed downstairs only to discover it was a false alarm. We attempted to grab breakfast afterward, but there was no food available—not even pancake mix. Instead of preparing or replenishing anything, the kitchen staff were sitting around on their phones. This hotel is a complete disappointment and a stain on the Marriott brand. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere.

Our room was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. The location was good. We would definitely stay there again.

Our room was outdated. It had a cracked electrical outlet and plaster on the walls.
The elevator didn’t really work. It makes noises and doesn’t come when you call it. I took the stairs to and from the 4th floor. I’ve been to HIE before and this was the worst one.

Breakfast was great and the food staff was amazing. The gentleman who checked us in surely needed some personality and energy but he was much older so I didn’t fuss.
