We cannot say enough about the Explora. We came with two families and 5 children under 5 years old. (Your mileage may vary on that choice!) In any case, the entire Explora staff was so helpful and friendly. We were able to adjust our excursions to our speed and still see all that Rapa Nui had to offer. We’d also like to specifically call out Maha and Popa as particular highlights of our visit. They simply made everyone comfortable (especially this kids) even though that’s not their standard fare. Thanks so much!

Our stay was fabulous. The spaces were nice without being ornate, and the staff were unfailingly polite, fun, funny, and attentive. The food was fresh and fabulous. Guided excursions were family-only or small group, with young attractive Rapa Nui native people who were kind and patient.

Absolutely awesome venue, great food, every day is an adventure. View from room was amazing, quite rooms, came for 3 nights and added 2 more as it was so good. The staff were all execptional. The air is so clean and its like being in paradise. Thanks for a great time.

A top experience 4 nights in this paradice of a place does something to you. The guides that took us to all these magical places were well prepared and knew the history very well. Some of them need to improve their english, but they try their best. The food was good, and the lunch soups were dull, but we hope the chief learns. Everyone tried their best for us all the time, and we enjoyed the stay every minute.

Increíble el hotel y sus instalaciones, por sobre todo la organización de las actividades todo muy bien pensado. El personal, los guías y su conocimiento, la cocina y la atención espectacular. Un lugar mágico, totalmente recomendado!!!

Era mi sexta experiencia en un hotel Explora y la última había sido hace muchos años. Fue igual como lo recordaba, lo máximo! El hotel precioso, las piezas lindas y cómodas, el personal todos amables y y disponibles para lo que unos les pidiera. El sistema de exploraciones y “all inclusive” en comidas y bebidas es muy bueno! Nunca usé mi cartera y especialmente en Rapa Nui es cómodo, pues cualquier exploración debe ser con guías locales, entonces el hotel te facilita todo. Los guías amables y preparados, te dan información del lugar y uno se siente seguro con ellos. Las comidas y bebidas de primer nivel!

A avaliação é de um hotel espetacular, no conceito que se propôs. Estar no Explora é certeza de qualidade em todos os aspectos. A comida é preparada por chef em sintonia com o lugar e em variedade inteligente, sem excesso. As acomodações são espaçosas, limpas e confortáveis. Os passeios abrangem todas as possibilidades e são acompanhados por guias preparados e conhecedores. Super recomendo!

If you really want to make the most of Rapa Nui stay here. There was absolutely nothing I had to worry about. My only "concern" was to choose which excursion I wanted for the day. Guides are local which makes a difference and helps understand such a special place and culture.
