"I took my 9 year old daughter for a 3 day stay.As soon as we entered the hotel we were greated with a warm welcome and a smile from the receptionist.She let us know what was available within the area and if we needed anything we should let her know. Our room was secluded, which we didn't mind too much. However, there wasn't much room to stand in front of our door as the stairs were right underneath, so it was a bit of a squeeze entering The location of the hotel was perfect as it's opposite the pier where you can play crazy golf or play games in the arcade, which is quite reasonably priced. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"My husband and I stayed at Devonia Hotel Eastbourne for four nights. The establishment was very clean and quiet. The manager of the place was very nice, polite and helpful. Just one thing that could change is the variety of breakfast cereals. Like Bran flakes, Weetabix and Sugar free muesli. Which can be brought in small packaging. However we had a great time staying there."

"Overall, my experience of Premier Inn over the years has been good. However, it has declined markedly since they started introducing sealed windows with no way of opening them. This is not how human beings are designed to live! Everybody needs a bit of fresh air, and by fresh air I mean genuinely fresh air, not recycled air from the air conditioning system. Moreover, the air conditioning system turned out to be extremely noisy and really quite disruptive. This was the case even when it was switched off! Premier Inn really should restore windows that open and should give an option to switch off the air conditioning in such a way that it does not create a noise when allegedly off."

"Visited for a 5 day break with Daishs. Room was really spacious, quiet and immaculately furnished with quality linen. Food was superb, Coq au Vin, Cod Mornay, outstanding as are all the 7 previous Daish hotels I have visited. It's very difficult to cater for 120 Pensioners at the same time, but Monika, our waitress, was absolutely amazing, and very industrious. Credit is also due to Ulmira, who I remembered was really efficient at my last visit June 2025. The general organisation showed a continual high standard and I couldn't fault the whole 4 days I was there. Eastbourne is a nice place and made even more enjoyable by the universal high standard of Daish organisational skills which are considerable."

"The owners are extremely accommodating and friendly and the breakfast was outstanding. The room was adequate with lots of homely touches which was also nice. The 2 down points are the parking- there’s none anywhere close and the bathroom needed re grouting and a bit small but I’m not put off due to the above plus points which far outweighs the negatives. The room has tea and coffee facilities. A hairdryer, a ceiling fan( lovely for a hot night) Needed a less heavy blanket but there is more above hangers. Needs smaller hangers so they actually fit the rail or larger shelf. TV fine, good Wi-Fi. Lovely big bed. Definitely would come back due to the owners."
