Okay, so I wasn’t expecting much when my family said we were staying at a hotel in Eagle Nest, but Econo Lodge totally surprised me! First off, the room was super clean — like, way better than I thought it would be. The Wi-Fi was fast (major win for streaming and gaming), and the beds were really comfy. The manager's husband was super nice and even helped us out when we had a question about the heater. He came right away, and even though the room was already warming up, they still offered us extra blankets just in case. Plus, the manager felt super bad so they gave us a discount and even sent a Starbucks gift card! Like, who does that? So cool. The location was chill too — the manager gave us a late check out so I slept in while dad went fishing. I’d totally stay here again — A Happy Teen Traveler

This hotel is family run. The rooms are a little old but very well cleaned. The owners are very nice. They do not have breakfast but I went to a restaurant.

No staff on grounds. We were unable to check into our room. Called every number available, no answer. Ended up sleeping in our vehicle in the front parking lot.

No air conditioning and a fan in the window and did not feel safe due to not being able to lock the window and there was a lot of traffic in the parking lot of the hotel.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Great couple working at keeping the hotel open as they renovate. The lake is spectacular.

We booked a room for work out there in Eagle Nest. I called on check out explaining my crew found bed bugs in their room and had pictures to prove it, I was told a manager would call me back and nothing. There was no one around for my employees to get ahold of in regards to the issue. But miracously the very room that has bed bugs, which is room 210, was then charged for a clean air for smoking (my manager has never smoked in a room the 3 years that he has worked for me) and some sort of damage which no one mentioned, called or alerted that there was damage. And as usual, you can not get ahold of anyone to discuss issues. We stay at alot of hotels with our business, I would NOT book this one.

We did not get a king bed as reserved. The facility is run down and the entrance to the facility was blocked by a guy working on a motorcycle. No AC and no screen on window. Floor tile in shower very slippery
