Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort

All was good. At check-in, they forgot to give me a card for the towels. They now have a strict policy for getting towels, which was a bit stressful, but the towel hut lady was kind and gave me towels anyway. The room smelled of mold, and I had to buy Lysol to cover the odor. The oven did not work, and the sink was plugged. The cleaning lady was very nice, though. The only real issue I had was at the bar. What seemed to be a dutch supervisor named Roderick made me feel very uneasy. He grabbed the bartender and was clearly talking about me and a friend I had over. So unprofessional. If you have doubts about something, address it more subtly. That ruined my whole experience, and I never went back to the bar at The Links. He is obviously not service-minded, which is a real concern on the island overall.

Our prepaid reservation for two rooms at the divi links was moved to the divi dutch village because of a mistake they made at divi (not trip.com) to say that we were downgraded is an understatement from the environment to location to staff it was a noticable difference however our stay price still remained the same. My mothers room often had the smell of **** because of the neighboring room and after 3 complaints nothing was done to resolve it. Our room was alright close to the pool. Will not return.

Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort is a fantastic choice for families, especially if you’re traveling with kids. The resort has so much to offer, from spacious suites to multiple pools, activities, and plenty of room for children to enjoy. One of the best parts is that the beach is only about a 10-minute walk away — close enough to be convenient, but the resort also offers shuttles if you’d rather not walk. You really don’t need a car to enjoy your stay here since the local buses make it very easy to get around Aruba, but if you choose to stay on the property, there’s more than enough to keep everyone entertained. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. This resort truly combines relaxation for adults with fun for kids, which makes it perfect for a family vacation. We had a wonderful experience here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly stay in Aruba. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Due to my 65th birthday my lovely wife Hetty treated me on a stay in this huge resort, as retired locals since 2017. We were welcomed very warmly and professionally at the desk, then we got our keys, and were blown away by the studio room, so spacious and well equipped, and also a huge balcony. During our stay we had delicious meals (see my pictures), from lunch and dinner to breakfast the next morning. The atmospheres at the Mulligan - and Windows (live music) restaurants are cosy, with an excellent crew, including the top notch cooks. As a birdwatcher I also loved the presence of a variety of birds, from pelicans and egrets at the small lakes and channels, to an osprey circling above the golf course. The architecture of this resort is awesome, although it's huge you never get that impression, due to the many small sections and lots of green and water. So highly recommended, we enjoyed out stay very much and have already booked a brunch at the Windows for my wife's birthday, October 19th.

We stayed here for our honeymoon & let me tell you, best decision I’ve ever made everything was truly perfect & the staff are super friendly!! I can’t wait to go back! I love Aruba! Truly paradise!

Upon arrival we were greeted with the most friendliest staff! Check in was a breeze, our room was already ready. (We arrived at 1:30pm). We took a shuttle over to our room. As soon as we walked in we could smell the musty/moldy smell. We then realize there is a dehumidifier in the room that we had to empty constantly throughout our stay. This was extremely disappointing. I woke Up every morning with a stuffy nose, runny eyes, and a cough. It would take about 1/2 the day to clear. The room however besides the smell and dehumidifier was pretty decent. The cleanliness was great, no issues there. The staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and so much more. Shuttles took a while to come to bring you around. Sometimes you could he waiting over 20 minutes. There were also times you would be walking and a shuttle would just drive past you instead of stopping to see if you needed a ride. (Had a husband with a broken foot… would have been helpful). When using the shuttle service though the staff were great! Very friendly and funny! Mulligans is fantastic, great service, wonderful food. Beach bar…. Very slow, you could be standing there for 10 minutes before a staff member would even acknowledge you. This was the case even when you were the only one standing/sitting there. Pool hours… strange. Pools close at 7. This is surprising because they have pool bars. We would get back from dinner and want to go take a swim and you couldn’t. If we had our children with us that would have been even worse. The beach however is amazing! No fighting for a spot, chairs, etc. very nice! Let’s talk about Erwin! He is the man! By far the best person at the hotel! He greets you with the biggest smile, friendly, funny, helpful, kind, caring, all around the best!! We will surly miss seeing him every day!
