Lakeview Motel

Stayed at this Motel for 1 night on April 12th. It is a family run operation and the owners were very welcoming. They put tremendous effort to make our stay comfortable. Property has a great location, clean rooms and owners made our stay memorable. A definite recommend for travelers.

Room was not huge but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Desk, small table and two chairs. Bed and pillows comfortable, lots of towels. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker but no iron(not that we needed one). Lots of hot water and good water pressure. Friendly staff, nice pool area. Two minutes to downtown Haliburton. We will return.

Older motel but our suite by the pool was recently re-done. New bathroom, flooring, and paint throughout. Nice little kitchen with everything needed for for a family get away. Our kids loved the pool!

The owner was welcoming and very sweet. The room was in good repair, clean, quiet and private. I especially loved the little touches like, warm light bulbs, adequate pillows towels and lighting options. Relaxing outdoor space. Comfortable beds. Great stay all around!

My husband and I decided to try the Dome; we had heard about it and seen some impressive pictures, so we thought we would treat ourselves to 1 night. The welcome and hospitality provided by Harsha was out of this world. Her charcuterie board is certainly an award winning one, worth booking the dome for !! The deck was uber clean, and the inside of the dome was spotless. You had all the amenities you needed, slippers, robes, towels for the hot tub, coffee pods, teas, ice making machine, and many more... this dome is so self-contained, you could stay there for a long period of time.... Well, if only we could! At night stargazing was the highlight of our stay! All in all Lakeview Motel never disappoints! Whether it is one of their other traditional rooms or the Dome, you can expect cleanliness, tidiness, and top notch service, both from Harsha and from Jag. IF and WHEN in Haliburton, we highly recommend this gem of a place: Lakeview Motel! You guys rock! Thank you for your awesome hospitality and service. We shall be back!

Lovely, immaculately clean, family run, drive up to the door motel. Perfect for my writing course at the college (5 minutes away) and my sister's love of sunning and reading by a sparkling, heated pool. Surrounded by forest and visited daily by deer it was a true Haliburton experience. The sisters and Jag were the best hosts and couldn't do enough. So comfortable! A real vacation, in Canda! Going back next year for sure.
