Lovely overnight stop with beers and roast dinner. Rooms were fab, food was lovely and the staff were great (especially the funny tall dark haired waitress who had us in stitches) Will stop again for sure. X

From the moment we arrived with our Lurcher & Podenco Kirstie made us feel very welcome! She is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had dinner and have to say the food was excellent. All the way through the evening, Kirstie was attending to all guests and supporting the team (Think one member of staff was new). The room is brilliant and a high standard with lovely finishing touches! Would definitely recommend and will stay again! Thank you!

Stayed one night with breakfast and evening meal. Seamless check-in online. Lovely welcome, room delightful, spotlessly clean, lovely facilities including a cafetiere. The Sunday roast was delicious and generous. Breakfast was also good. Will definitely stay again when breaking up journey to Cornwall. All staff are really friendly and helpful.

The Crown Inn was our favorite stay when walking Cotswold Way, even though we had to walk a bit extra to get on & off the way. The pub onsite is excellent, by far the best food we ate during our walk, the rooms are very tastefully decorated and the team there were very hospitable. Highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for one night on our way to Devon. The Crown was excellent in every way. A lovely large room and very friendly staff. The evening meal and breakfast were top class. I would highly recommend The Crown Inn as I could not fault it.

The Crown is close to the M4 junction on the A46 so we booked for Sunday lunch to coincide with a journey up to London. The day turned out to be the hottest of the year so far (32degrees), but the pub was still full of diners wanting a Sunday roast. The service was good and the food was plentiful, the beef and pork were well cooked, and good quality. Be warned you don't need a starter. The only negative was the roast potatoes which were dry and not in keeping with the rest of the food on the plate, hence the 4 star rating. Next time we will go on a cold winter's day.

We walked the entire Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Bath. This was our last stop along “the way” before we concluded in Bath. This was one of my FAVORITE pub, hotel, stops during the entirety of the trip. Hands down 100% the best rooms we stayed in. The Pub menu, beer choice, environment was lovely. We loved the outdoor area for beers before dinner. The breakfast was cook to order and the coffee fabulous. Above all was the staff. From the check in, to bartenders to servers and all they were fantastic. We had not one complaint and nothing but positive feelings. Truly I would have loved to have stayed an extra day just to relax. I can NOT recommend this place higher.

Have eaten here a few times and it never disappoints. Lovely cozy atmosphere with a fabulous real log fire for lovely winter days / evenings. Great menu variety. I especially recommend trying the new Christmas sandwich, it’s to die for. Lovely friendly staff.

A traditional pub with a good feeling good choice of drinks We stopped for food and had the festival sandwich quality food with plenty of taste could not fault Staff were very welcoming polite and talkative food presented efficiently no long waiting around
