Spark by Hilton Fishkill ★★★
"check smooth and friendly but the breakfast coffee really can't acceptable hope can improve."
Inn at Bellefield / Hyde Park ★★★
"This hotel is very beautiful and quiet. Our room was amazing: the kitchen had a full refrigerator, the sitting area was very comfortable, and the bed was one of the best I've slept in at a hotel. I only wish that the shower in the bathroom had a full door rather than a half glass wall. No matter what you do, the water gets out and it's hard to stay warm without a closing door. I didn't care for the restaurant very much, but the rest of the hotel was wonderful. The exercise room is extremely well-equipped for those who want to get a workout in while traveling."
DoubleTree by Hilton Poughkeepsie, NY ★★★★
"It is very nice and convenient place . Clean and friendly"
Holiday Inn Express POUGHKEEPSIE by IHG ★★★
"Woke up early enough to try the breakfast for once and it wasn’t bad for what it was. They had a good selection of choices to have with some fresh fruits which was nice. The cinnamon rolls were very hard on the outside but the middle was soft and good flavor wise. I really enjoyed the Frosted Flakes with chocolate milk :)"
Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie / Hudson Valley ★★★
"Location beautifully immersed in green, excellent services, very friendly and available staff, also the washing machine and dryer available at a fair price."
SpringHill Suites Fishkill ★★★
"We stayed at this hotel for 7 days, everything was very good. We even received a special treat for our 25th wedding anniversary: a bottle of good white wine and a menu written in French... super nice... we didn't use the pool, no time... Breakfast was simple but effective, very good. We will definitely be back... thanks to the whole team..."
Home2 Suites by Hilton Poughkeepsie ★★★
"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the location was perfect—very convenient for visiting nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions. What stood out the most was how friendly and welcoming the staff were. Everyone was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. We also loved the barbecue area connected to the pool. It was a fantastic space to relax, enjoy a meal, and spend time with family. The combination of the pool and BBQ area made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
Hampton Inn & Suites Poughkeepsie ★★
"We enjoyed our stay. Amenities were adequate. Location was fairly close to attractions such as the walkway over the Hudson. Good breakfast offered. Thanks."
Best Western Plus the Inn Suites at the Falls ★★★
"Hotel is beautifully located next to a river. Room is clean. Breakfast ends a bit early at 0900."

Troutbeck
"Troutbeck fully lives up to its reputation. It is beautiful, well situated and has incredible service. Any question or request that we made was met with a “yes”. Julio at checkout was especially gracious, leaving me with such a great feeling as I checked out. Take advantage of everything on the property…ping pong, billiards, Pilates, tennis. It’s all there for you. Also, it is very close to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, which is fabulous! Thank you Troutbeck for making my daughter’s 30th birthday trip so memorable!"
Quality Inn Poughkeepsie
"Breakfast is more general."
Residence Inn Fishkill
"The hotel was perfect! Great size rooms that were updated and free breakfast every day!"
Brinckerhoff Inn
"What a chance in our lifetime to experience the Brinckerhoff Inn. So beautifully decorated for a luxurious home in 1800’s Hudson River Valley and at the same time so comfortable by today’s standards. Bob, the innkeeper was a wealth of historical knowledge and so hospitable. He told us that upgrading the Inn including making it true to its history and then welcoming and getting to know his guests, is the most enjoyable job he has ever had. The grounds are beautiful and the home is so close to many fun outdoor adventures."
Quality Inn Hyde Park Poughkeepsie North
"Discovered nicer / cleaner hotels that were cheaper very near."
Hyatt House Fishkill
"Decent"
The Lagrange Inn & Extended Stay
"Our two baseline criteria: the place has to be safe and clean. This place meets and exceeds this. Super easy to book, find, check in, make a meal, watch a show before bed, take a good hot shower, get solid sleep and check out. If you are looking for more than that, there are other places around, but after reading dozens of reviews we decided the place with nothing that sounded unsafe or gross was best for our needs. It worked out very well. As someone with dynamic mobility issues (sometimes it's fine, sometimes I use a walker or cane or wheelchair), I love a motor lodge style hotel. So easy to park and bring stuff in!! And I love that since that Canadian TV show about the Rose(bud) Motel that people are giving these places more love. It's nice to see them being refurbished instead of bulldozed over. Connects us to the road trip history of this continent in a neat way. When people write it is "right off the highway," it's usually not so literal. If you know the Taconic State Parkway, you know some of the exits are stop sign intersections and this Inn is off one of those. It is super convenient as long as no one is tailgating you as you turn in (or just take the extra time and go the long way around), the beds were too hard for me but perfect for my family member and they are lower so that is excellent for anyone using a wheelchair. Otherwise, the kitchenette was well set up, the water pressure and heat for the shower water was great, the place was neat and tidy, all the linens were clean. Maybe the floor could have used a mopping, but everything was in good working order and I would absolutely stay again. Btw, the exterior may not be quite up to the quality of the rooms themselves, so don't be put off. I especially liked the kitchen set up with a nice big fridge and the two burners and plenty of counter space. The dish soap, drying rack, paper towels, microwave, (oh and in the bathroom the hair dryer) were all quality and very clean. There is a small coffee maker but we didn't try it out. There is a care taker and the reservation confirmation has info on how to get in touch if there are any issues. There is no check in area and no breakfast room or that kind of thing. We didn't happen to see (or hear) anyone else while we were there, just other cars in the lot, which was fine for our visit to the region. There is like a mini split AC/Heater in the room, a folding luggage rest thingy, an open closet with plenty of hangers, a very comfy table and chairs and a nice easy chair in the room and plenty of space. It would be a good place to set up a play mat if you have younger kids who just need a chill afternoon or something. It's five minutes to one of the local diners with a supermarket behind that, plenty of strip malls close by if you needed something and easy enough to get into several towns for relaxing, sight seeing, or visiting colleges, museums, or historic sights in and around Poughkeepsie."
