Dunhuang North Poe B&B

Staying near Mingsha Mountain is very convenient. I spent a long time choosing and decided on this one. Don't drive to the scenic area during peak season. The walk from the parking lot to the scenic area is farther than from the hotel. I'm not sure about the off-season, but overall it's quite good. The room was spacious enough, and the hostess was very welcoming, polite, and gentle. The restaurant also provided free fruit and drinks, which was great. The surrounding restaurants are a bit pricey, which is understandable, but some were quite rude and aggressive (the more expensive, the more aggressive). It felt like they were desperate for a one-time business. It might be better to choose a restaurant with more people. I usually order takeout. There's a good local breakfast place.

The B&B is a few hundred meters away from the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake. If it is hot in the afternoon, you can take a tricycle to the scenic area. If it is cooler at night, you can walk back slowly, which takes about ten minutes.

I prefer B&Bs to business travel, and finding a stylish B&B feels like a steal. The lady also recommended the photographer who did the makeup, which was very thoughtful.

This is a fantastic B&B in Dunhuang. The rooms are clean and tidy, and it's very close to Mingsha Mountain, with a view from the rooftop! The owners are two beautiful ladies, gentle, warm, and thoughtful. They prepared lots of fresh and delicious fruit for us! It's really great, highly recommended!
