The hotel rooms are beautiful and we were upgraded upon arrival. The hotel lobby smelled badly of cigarette smoke when we arrived. The rooms came with breakfast but they asked, “if we wanted breakfast” because we were the only guests. When we woke up in the morning, no one was awake and breakfast was late. It was not very welcoming.
Owner is very nice and service improved as the days went on but I would not stay here again.

The location is outside the City center in a green ,lush,very quiet environment and very close the Singing mountains . The hotel is built and equipped in traditionell style. The breakfast is made of fresh and high quality dishes in local style. Absoluty outstanding was the hospitality and the help with information, transportation and even more ..we could experience places , got information about the local live, the history of Dunhuang and much more. Departing was like leaving friends behind. Special thanks to Mr. HU his son, the landlords and to Candy. Hope to visit that place and the awesome stay again.

The owner and his wife are very hospitable and have taken great care of us from check-in to check-out. We felt very warm when we first arrived in Dunhuang. The B&B also has a public self-service laundry room, which is very considerate for tourists who are tired from the journey. The B&B is located in Heshui Village, Crescent Lake Town, and is only a 5-minute drive from Mingsha Mountain and other scenic spots. The transportation is very convenient. There are also many local specialty restaurants around, which are convenient for tourists to taste delicious food.

A quiet B&B in a busy area. The outside environment of the B&B is very good, and the decoration inside is also very attentive. The room is large and clean. I like the studio of the B&B very much. Many movies are filmed here. What's more heartwarming is that when we arrived in the afternoon on the first day, the B&B had already prepared lunch, fried four dishes and soup, and took us out to play every day afterwards ~ It was a very good trip.

The luckiest thing about this trip is that I chose this homestay! The courtyard is full of flowers and plants, quiet and beautiful, instantly dispelling the fatigue of the journey.
