The room was very clean and had a large balcony which was great. The electric heater in the room heated up really quickly. The room was very hot in a few minutes and I finally turned down the heater. Overall, the price/performance ratio was very good. The breakfast was delicious every day and the staff sampled each dish. It was very safe to eat.

Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin is located in the city center. You don't need to drive to travel. You can visit the surrounding cathedrals, train stations and museums in seven or eight minutes on foot. It is also very convenient to eat out. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is located at a relatively high position with a good view. Most rooms have mountain and city views. The hotel provides breakfast with many choices and will not disappoint you.
The hotel staff is very friendly. We arrived 2 hours before check-in time. I didn't hold out hope and just wanted to store my luggage temporarily. I didn't want to ask, but the hotel staff immediately checked me in. What made us even more grateful was that because we left the hotel in a hurry, we forgot to bring the small bag containing our passports, which contained the passports of our group of 3 people and a mobile phone. When we drove for more than 3 hours to Queenstown, the manager of Kingsgate Hotel called me and found out about this. They actively assisted and sent it to our hotel in Queenstown by express delivery, and we received it the day before we left. If we don't have a passport, the trouble is unimaginable. It will be a nightmare for us, not to mention the journey to Australia below, even entering and leaving New Zealand and even China is very troublesome! Thank you very much for the help of Kingsgate Hotel! We are grateful and would like to express our experience here, hoping that it will be widely known and that future travelers will choose them and support them. Good deeds will eventually be rewarded!
