We love this place for a quiet getaway, the facilities, and the cabin having all the basic needs in the kitchen. Cabin 6 was a huge disappointment after staying in another cabin previously. The main bedroom was so small that we had to walk sideways down the wall to get in and out of the bed. Only one bedside table. No floorspace to put luggage. Small shower smelled mouldy. No room to walk into the toilet and close the door, which only JUST missed the toilet bowl. 2nd room with bunks was also very small.

Awesome location and a shout out to the ever helpful Casual staff that do the real work around the place , providing fantastic customer service. People skills and communication go a long way with Lana, Genna , Ruthie and Paul a delight to deal with as well as former Managers Brad and Sarah. Hope to return one day if it remains a Caravan Park yet may have to be as a permanent resident, as unfortunately pricing is becoming out of reach for a large sector of the community, ie people with caravans.

I particularly did not like having to pay $15 extra for linen/towel for the second bedroom when I had included the number of guests in the booking (1 adult, 1 child). In fact, the description on wotif specifically lists linen and towels being included in EACH bedroom. So make sure you factor that into the total cost.
Whilst the unit was clean, the facilities were the bare minimum.. for example, in the kitchen there were the most basic of utensils and not even commonly used ones such as a pair of scissors. There was no plug for the shower/half bath, which meant I struggled to give the little one a bath.

Very happy, but I would have liked to be able to cook a meal for myself, a small stove would have made it more enjoyable. But very happy with the location and the room is a great size and bathroom and shower are amazing

Helpful, welcoming staff. Cabin was very clean but also very compact. Great shower, however the bathroom space was cramped. Grounds and gardens were immaculate.

Pet friendly cabin needed for 3 day visit to tge Laurieton area. Set up for easy stay, crockery, cutlery, table and chairs and 2 x 2 seatersofa. Great hot water and under carport parking for our cabin. Stayed in April school holidays but was pretty quiet. 5 min drive back into main town centre for whatever you need.

Stayed at Dunbogan Caravan Park on my way to visit relatives down south and stayed overnight to break my trip. The following week on my return trip stayed for two nights. Despite heavy rain, the staff were extremely helpful as I was camping under my car side awing with a stretcher tent. Will definitely return and stay longer as the park is situated in a beautiful area and I was looking forward to lots of walks beside the water with my dog. Owners and staff were very accommodating to my situation and it was a pleasure to meet them. Lovely grassy camp sites and the caravans with there towing vehicles I saw camping in the park had plenty of room for both plus were able to use the awing off their caravan. Blessings Jennifer
