The hotel is located in a great complex with many amenities including restaurants and bars for dinner and drinks in the evening, solid options for breakfast and coffee, and welcoming little shops of many types. All this on the beautiful Lake Superior shore with a brilliant view of downtown and the harbor bridge. Lake walk is surprisingly well lit and well used making a morning run comfortable and safe as well as beautiful.

The room Fitger’s Inn assigned us was not the room we reserved but it was just for 1 night, we were tired, they were full and we accepted it. The room’s issues were many including way too hot, poorly positioned thermostat and window (6~7ft up wall), possible stuck radiator valve (i.e., radiator hot even with system set to cool) and stuck or frozen window (i.e., staff said they were going to fix but never happened) Room #217, Nov 22~23

The rooms were great, they could use a microwave to heat up leftovers late at night as eateries aren't open for all lifestyles to order a hot meal.
