Easy checking, late checkout, they had a big group for dinner, but were great at serving and very friendly. Room was standard, but lovely and clean. Try their Gin, it is brewed local and was lovely.

We stayed for one night whilst visiting the area. We were given room 33 which was in a separate building above the gift shop. The room was on the whole clean and comfortable. Although I would stay again, whilst there is nothing wrong with the hotel, apart from it being next door to the Loch Ness Centre there wasn’t really anything else that stood out (just my personal opinion). I was really looking forward to staying here but unfortunately it didn’t “wow” me.

Was a nightmare to find the hotel as pictures we found showed a different part of the hotel (outside rooms) and the reception was in the restaurant and the hotel entrance was just a black door. Room was ok and clean but felt more like a glorified hostel. The restaurant had a function at 6 so we had to eat early and then walked to a nearby pub for the evening as nowhere to relax apart from your room. Not at all what we expected.

We were very excited to stay here but were bitterly disappointed. We didn't properly check the room when we checked in because we were heading out. We got back to the room at 23:00, and we discovered that the bed was full of hair. The curly kind (use your imagination). Unfortunately, the reception was closed already, so we had to sleep on top of the bed, fully clothed, using the towels as blankets. I complained the next morning, and the person at reception responded, "Oh, that's not right. I'll tell housekeeping. " And that was it. I will NOT stay here again.

I was nervous about staying at this hotel as part of an organised great glen way hike, following some poor reviews, however I wanted to highlight that every single room has been renovated I believe now, so there does not appear to be scope for any mould issues. I was blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the manager Donald and the other staff were all Impeccable. I had a very loud snorer in the room next to me the first night, who was so loud I believe, despite a high level of sound proofing, that he would have disturbed any one at any hotel. The manager moved me after I complained to the quietest room in the hotel my second night, which was also beautifully refurbished. The breakfast was nice and location convenient although it would have been great to publicise the information office a few steps away as a good way to access taxis. Lovely hotel, which became a highlight of our 9 days trip. Highly recommend
