Ibis Styles Dreux Centre Gare

Good location close to the train station and the hotel was clean/new

Tricky access, hidden in the street scene. Appeared to be adequate parking behind security gates for which an access code is required. 2 EV charging bays. Reception staff variable, reasonable requested ignored by one member of staff. The women were excellent. Four storeys and one lift, during a one night stay the lift was not available and not moving for my disabled wife to use probably because on another floor somebody was holding the doors over. The bedroom was a fair size with a 2.0 m (6'-8") bed. The view was of a car park across a main road. The hotel was quiet but some road noise penetrated. Some of the weird wall furniture appeared to be fabricated from empty wooden wine boxes, much had no obvious purpose. Only one chair. The floor covering is a textured vinyl, not very comfortable to walk on with bare feet. The 'central' heating could not be made to work. One USB - A and one USB - C sockets, not enough. Reasonable sized bathroom, walk in shower cubicle, all in working order. Breakfast was excellent with fresh orange juice and a amazing range of sprinkles.

The Ibis is a nice hotel. New and modern. The lobby area was impressive with a bar area, lots of seating, complimentary and very tasty breakfast. It is warm and inviting with some outdoor seating. The hotel room was ok. The bathroom was well done and attractive. There was soap and two cups in the bath, but no other toiletries except nice soft towels.The room itself was basic. No refrigerator, coffee maker or any of that. A comfortable bed and a desk with one chair. There was an area to hang clothes with some shelf space. It was adequate. Each room had a nice balcony, but there were no chairs to sit on out there. It is across the street from the train station which is what attracted us to this hotel. We would stay here again.

Perfect for a stop during travelling

We stayed one night here on our drive south, the hotel was perfect for our needs. Very friendly staff, a good size room with comfortable bed and a good shower. Everthing felt very clean. The breakfast was better than most chain hotels that we've stayed in. The secure car park was a bonus.

Stayed here one night with my husband on our way down France. Wonderful welcome from the receptionist Vanessa. Very friendly, helpful and efficient and was very patient when we were trying to use our limited French. (A good teacher)! Good secure gated parking at the rear. Room was excellent, very new and clean. Breakfast in the morning was very good with freshly squeezed orange juice. Nicely located for a walk into town in the early evening. Ate out at a restaurant suggested by Vanessa. Very good.
