"We have stayed Chanticleer for the past 3 summers and we love it. We rent the 2 bedroom cabin that is so beautiful I want to live there...forever. From the cabin itself to the linens everything is top notch. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to bring some steaks and grill out on the deck. PEACEFUL! I can not imagine anyone not loving this place. Very close to Sturgeon Bay if you want to go shopping and into the Door as well. Yet this is a bit of heaven and a much needed weekend of relaxing. The breakfasts are great and if you are in the cabin you can request a time to pick up your "basket". I hate to tell people about Chanticleer, because I want to make sure there is an opening for me when I want to go!"

"Dirty, smelly, very dated and not a good experience! Coffee pot in the room was useless as there were no coffee cups for use! The lady at the desk told us that we could get coffee from the pot I the lobby! We had to hunt for breakfast since it was far away from the front desk. Eggs were cold, sausage very greasy, toaster not working! Our stay here was miserable! Best Western should not have its name on this facility!"

Door County coffee in the cupboard and breakfast delivered to our cabin in the morning made for a perfect start to the day. Highly recommend these cabins for a Door County getaway. "We had a. lovely stay. The staff was pleasant and helpful at all times. The ambiance was cozy with a fireplace in the main room with comfy chairs and checkers ready to go. The temperature of the pool and jacuzzi were perfect--not too hot, not too cold. The location is near several state parks where we found groomed cross-country ski trails, and across the road from a lovely café/bistro Sip. Staying at the Waterbury made the perfect winter getaway for us!"
