The room was okay and I slept quite well. The only thing is, if you need a hot shower, you better look for somewhere else.

Was pleasantly surprised staying here. The owner was super helpful, anything you needed he would get for you, he was customer driven. Food was great, service was great, would stay here again.

Good location, one friendly member of staff for reception & bar. Looks a little tired. Stains on bedroom carpet. Room small, bed creeky and tired headboard but actually got a good sleep. Clean linen. Room was a little cold in the evening and took me a while to heat up in bed. No hot/warm water at 11pm so a cold face wash, and again no hot/warm water at 0830 so no shower and a quick sponge wash. Ok for a night as not expensive, but would still expect hot water. Can't comment on food as we didn't eat there or have breakfast. Wouldn't be my first choice to stay again.

The room was small and basic but very clean. The bed and pillows were poor. Staff were great. The shower drained vèy slowly so the base filled up and the next person had to wait 10 minutes for it to drain before they could go in. This place was OK for a night but I would probably try somewhere else next time for the price we paid.

Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were good. A liitle bit tired lookig in places and hot water coud be better. Parking wasn't an issue.

Check in for two nights, we were told on arrival that it was chefs night off but would be open the following night but it wasn’t. A complete stranger opened our room door to come in on the second evening. He had been told this was his room, but obviously it wasn’t. The room had the bed against one wall which was inconvenient. It is in a great spot, easily accessible to the town and railway station.

I liked the cleanliness and the quick check in. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Only downside was the lack of hot water.
