Absolutely disgusting! Dirty bedding, shower or toilet have never seen bleach or any cleaning products in its life.rubbish in bin's mark's from some sort of beverage on tops of table and bedside tables, basically the room hadn't been cleaned,no towels nothing,we had drove 5 hours and was absolutely knackered. After 2 visit's to the front desk and offering to change the bedding myself I didn't want to visit a 3rd time.the first visit was for one of our cups having fag ash in it, apparently the lad behind the counter said it had been cleaned 3 times! At that point I didn't bother as it would be more lies.the place looks like it's for people living in it and we got some persons room who was away for the night,as it smelt like stale sweat and after-shave.avoid at all cost..if you like to be cold and don't mind filth go ahead.even though it wasn't overly expensive I'd rather pay more for the cleanliness and hygiene..

Cheap and feels like it- but great location, good parking, and does the basics right. Shower Hot Water did work but only after being left on for about 5 minutes Room was clean and had what you'd need in it. Staff friendly. Fine for a night when on a business trip

Shower head held together with electrical tape. Mould in bathroom ceiling. Shower door broken. Breakfast area carpet stained and in need of a clean. Room smelled damp. Breakfast was toast, cereal or packaged buns. Cutlery was lacking and minimal. Glad to leave here, would not recommend as a nice place to stay. Maybe renovations are happening but our room was not up to standard.

I've worked up and down Britain for eight years now and this is the worst place I've stayed in. Please avoid. TV doesn't work, shower doesn't work, (had a wash in the sink) £84. They're is a good pub near the station called the Mallard though. Nice pizzas.

I’ve read many bad reviews saying it’s the worst hotel they’ve ever been in. I feel like if you pay half the normal price for an hotel you can expect half the quality. I’ve paid 37 pounds per person per night WITH breakfast, insanely cheap. But with that the quality went down aswell, many little errors for example a kettle you cant fill up because the sink is too shallow, curtains that don’t work, no hangers, some smell, rooms don’t get cleaned every day etc. But, it is clean, and you get a reasonable breakfast, with a good shower and a great bed.

Great cheap and cheerful place, fantastic staff
This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but saying this everything is functional, and usable.
As I say, it’s a grant wee handy place to stay, and friendly staff!
Hopefully will pop back sometime soon.

Spacious clean room, & microwave available in hall
I spent one night at the Waverley Inn in Dingwall, while heading back from a work trip.
PROS: friendly staff, clean and spacious room and bathroom, wifi works well, free parking available, excellent value for money, and there's the chance to use a microwave oven in the dinning-hall. Special mention for the microwave oven, I wish more hotels and guest houses offered that option!
Cons: on the day I was there, the tv (and tv remote) didn't work; but wifi worked well.
The only annoying thing was the overwhelming smell of air freshener in the room and bathroom. I had to keep the window open in my room for over an hour to get rid of the chemical smell. Once I changed the air, it was all good.
