Barr Na Sraide Inn

We enjoyed this hotel in Dingle. The folks were friendly, rooms were clean and roomy. The breakfast was very good. The only negative was our room was above the bar where people went out to smoke. We had our windows open to cool down the air. Unfortunately, do to smoke and loud talkers, we had to close the window. When the window was closed we didn’t hear anything. They had a washer and dryer which was very helpful.

This is a great option for those looking for a short term stay- we loved it! The hotel was recently renovated and it looks amazing - great job! Our room was great, it was small but very well appointed and comfortable- the beds were nice and the free parking is a plus. If you are the kind of traveler that needs an elevator this is not the place for you. We hauled our bags upstairs and it was no problem. There is no AC but the windows do open more than your usual hotel windows open so we were able to enjoy the fresh wonderful Dingle air. There is no kettle in the room, but they will lend you one if you ask. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Bathrooms are nicely done. We did not get the breakfast included but it smelled amazing every morning. The hotel has a bar that is great- very knowledgeable bartender who can tell you all about anything you want to know about what is happening in Dingle. Excellent location away from the touristy harbor area and walkable to the great pubs and live music. Would definitely recommend this great gem of a hotel and would definitely stay again!

Different front desk, more of a B&B in that manner, but very nice up to date hotel rooms, with a Irish Pub connected to it. Right in the middle of town with all types of shops, restaurants, and pubs nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We booked the Deluxe Family Suite with a private enterance, 5 beds, parquet floor, seating area, and washing machine for 2 nights in July 2025. When we checked in we asked the staff to confirm we were in the Deluxe Family Suite. He said yes. We were not. Instead, the staff cleverly put us in a Quadruple room up multiple flights of stairs with only 4 beds, absolutely no seating area and no washing machine. And yet, we were charged the higher price for the Deluxe Family Suite that we booked even though we don’t get to stay in it!After getting to our downgraded, overpriced room, I went back down to talk to the staff person about the error. He acted like he had no clue and that we were in the room that we booked and paid for. While at dinner I researched the details of my booking and confirmed that we indeed booked and paid for the larger and better Deluxe Family Suite but instead Bar Na Sraide Inn stuffed into the smaller Quaduple room with no apology, acknowledgement or price adjustment. After dinner, I asked the staff member if I could show him screenshots of why I was so confused at check in. I showed him as he was working the bar and he abruply told me to talk to the people working in the morning - he could’t do anything about it. I was told that Patricia and Daihti are the owners and to take it up with them at breakfast. We will be disputing the charge on our credit card immediately. This is fraud. Bar Na Sraide Inn doesn’t deserve the recommendation that Rick Steve’s gives them when this is the way they do business. Buyer beware. You too may be charged a higher price for a room you booked and then stuffed into a cheaper, inferior room and have the staff just play dumb about the bait and switch they just pulled.
