We absolutely adored our stay here as part of our honeymoon trip! The staff was so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very clean and even offered a private patio. The breakfast was delicious and has gorgeous views out the back windows. The common area pictured below was so quaint and they offer free tea and coffee at any time. Location was about 1 block to the main downtown area so very walkable but quiet.

You cannot fault Emlagh House for location. It is within walking distance to town. You cannot fault Emlagh House for its views. They are spectacular. You cannot fault Emlagh House for room size and cleanliness. A very spacious bedroom and bathroom. The breakfast was average, the choice was limited and I have seen a lot better. The staff were very assertive to the point of overbearing and rude. However, my biggest problem was they did not allow tea to be drank in the bedroom. There was tea and cake (very tasty cake) available in a room downstairs but it was forbidden to be brought up to the bedroom. My wife and I, when we are on holiday, like to make tea in the room. This is the first time where we didn’t have tea and coffee facilities in the room. We will be back to Dingle, but certainly not to Emlagh House.

Emlagh Lodge is a wonderful choice when staying in Dingle. It is located on the bay (amazing view) in a very private setting, but it’s only a 5 minute walk to town. Maggie is a very attentive host and awesome cook. Her breakfast offerings are fabulous! The Lodge is squeaky clean and provides a luxurious feel.
