Super 8 by Wyndham Dillon

Terrible treatment at this hotel! I did not have a reservation but just walked in and got a room on August 16, 2025. The front desk person apparently botched something when she entered my information into the computer and it did not record that the room I booked was occupied. As a result, I was woken up twice in the middle of the night by other guests trying to get into the room. Then woken up again before 7:00 a.m. by hotel staff pounding and hollering through the door asking for my name. It was a lousy and disrespectful stay and I felt that I should get a full refund. The front desk person said she would check with her manager to see about at least a discount. I received neither, zilch. I contacted Wyndham, which is the parent company or somehow affiliated, and they took no responsibility for the situation and referred me back to the hotel to fix it. But I had already talked with hotel staff and received no refund or discount. A total waste of time and zero support from cowardly Wyndham. Still waiting to see if someone might choose to make this right, but I doubt it.

The room was fine, comfortable bed. The key never worked, so we had to keep running downstairs to get a new key. Breakfast was really sustandard.

Nothing for breakfast CLAIM somebody was going out shopping for it very noisy stairs next to the room you could hear people banging suitcases up and down the stairs all night long

There was no luggage cart in the office. We requested one and was told she would have to go find it. She did find one by the next morning, but it was a hand truck like for building materials. It would be nice, too, if the property had a wider door to bring in the cart. Also, the breakfast was terrible! We expected a light, continental breakfast, but the ONLY thing there was cold cereal and coffee!

Room smelled musty or stale. Was clean but not optimal. We did not see in the description the hotel did not have elevators. Thus was an issue as my wife had a hip replacement recently and I have bad knees. We were told no first floor rooms were available.

Breakfast sucks... no variety...$200 per night and nothing to show for the price.
