Dockside Suites

We had 2 rooms booked. Accommodation was first class, excellent facilities very clean, one unit was an apartment so well equipped, the other room had everything you could possible need for a stopover one route to the ferry to St.John. Lovely patio area restaurant excellent value. Breakfast you get a 10% for staying at the Dockside Suites, check in staff extremely helpful even offered to help with our luggage. Would definitely stay again, big thanks for a peaceful stay.

I stayed at 38b, which is the lower level. The room has a kitchenette, a living room space, and a separate bedroom. I loved being able to walk out the sliding doors to the dock and the views over the Bay of Fundy. The Dockside and Fundy restaurants are adjacent to the room. The food, staff and atmosphere are awesome. I highly recommend!

Stayed at Dockside Suites for two nights with another couple, in rooms 44C & 44D. Our room was large, with lots of comfortable seating. We loved the balcony. It was big enough for four of us to lounge comfortably, watching the activity on the wharf and enjoying the sunrise. The wicker chairs on our balcony were comfortable. The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. The towels were fluffy and absorbant. We had a bar sink, refrigerator and microwave. Dish soap, a dish cloth and a tea towel were provided. The coffeemaker was a pre-filled sachet type, but made OK coffee. Decaf coffee wasn't provided. The shower had great water pressure and almost instant hot water. There was a small electric fireplace in the bathroom as well. I did find that the mirror fogged up during my shower. I did not like the "conditioning shampoo" and thin bar of soap provided. For such a nice place, I expected better quality. The only other negative was having to go outside and down the street to the restaurant to get ice. It would have been nice to have ice in the building. I should have asked of they'd deliver it. Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend staying here!

This location is exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable and has all you need for your stay. Our room was beautiful, looking out on the water and harbour where the scallop boats dock. It is quiet despite being right beside a restaurant and bar which is also a great place to eat. I’m sorry we didn’t stay longer. You will not be disappointed when staying here. We will be back!

The entire Fundy Complex was amazing, which consists not only of the suites but also a bar and restaurant. The owner and staff were so friendly and accommodating. The quality of the room we rented (even though we had one of two with no sea views) was impeccible. It had better standards and quality of furnishings than the more expensive hotel we stayed at in Halifax. It was a bit expensive but when you see the rooms, you understand why. Will gladly stay there again!
