Dockside Suites

The hotel is in a great location with street parking as well as a small dedicated parking lot - first come first served. Room C is large with very high ceilings, a large tv and a compact kitchenette. The bed is large and comfortable, the bathroom is very nice with a shower. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is one window with a light filtering shade. There is a bright street light outside that window and the light comes in to the room. I tried to cover it with a towel but it wouldn’t stay in place and the light kept me up most of the night. If the hotel fixes that I would give it a 4.5/5. The partial ocean view shares a balcony with another room. This room is street side and you do get noise from motorcycles and large trucks. There is no bathtub and no elevator so you have to haul your bags up a flight of stairs

Very nice, modern, and clean room with balcony looking over the scallop fleet in downtown Digby. Wonderful bathroom. All tile, no carpet. Awesome ultra HD tv. Really liked this.

We had 2 rooms booked. Accommodation was first class, excellent facilities very clean, one unit was an apartment so well equipped, the other room had everything you could possible need for a stopover one route to the ferry to St.John. Lovely patio area restaurant excellent value. Breakfast you get a 10% for staying at the Dockside Suites, check in staff extremely helpful even offered to help with our luggage. Would definitely stay again, big thanks for a peaceful stay.

What a gem to stay in!!!! We only stayed here for one night as part of a longer trip and wished we could have stayed longer. Check in and out is at the Fundy Restaurant just a few steps from the facility. Parking is just across the street or even on the main street. They give you permits to park there. Staff will show you to your room and point out the various features. It was one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in for some time. The room layout and amenities are fantastic. Our room had a deck and beautiful view of Digby Harbour. The room was super clean, quiet and quite comfortable. Price wise it is comparable to others in the area, but well worth staying there. We are definitely going back in the very near future. Highly recommend.

Stayed at Dockside Suites for two nights with another couple, in rooms 44C & 44D. Our room was large, with lots of comfortable seating. We loved the balcony. It was big enough for four of us to lounge comfortably, watching the activity on the wharf and enjoying the sunrise. The wicker chairs on our balcony were comfortable. The room was spotless. The bed was comfortable. The towels were fluffy and absorbant. We had a bar sink, refrigerator and microwave. Dish soap, a dish cloth and a tea towel were provided. The coffeemaker was a pre-filled sachet type, but made OK coffee. Decaf coffee wasn't provided. The shower had great water pressure and almost instant hot water. There was a small electric fireplace in the bathroom as well. I did find that the mirror fogged up during my shower. I did not like the "conditioning shampoo" and thin bar of soap provided. For such a nice place, I expected better quality. The only other negative was having to go outside and down the street to the restaurant to get ice. It would have been nice to have ice in the building. I should have asked of they'd deliver it. Overall, we had a wonderful time and definitely recommend staying here!

Very clean rooms. We had a partial water view. Nice couch and Tv. The shower was wonderful. Bathroom counter was big enough for toiletries. Desk and coffee maker in the room. No ice machine had to walk down to the office and ask for ice. Also dogs were allowed you could hear them running up the stairs and hallway.
