Долго выбирали с женой, куда полететь самим, без детей. Рассматривали разную экзотику от Шри-Ланка, до острова Маврикий. Искали под свои даты и свой бюджет. Нам предложили Кению. Интерес взял верх над страхами неизведанного. Мы не ошиблись. Начну с отеля - достаточно комфортный трёхзвездочный отель. Неплохие номера. Кондиционер, балкон, большая кровать. Из необычного - кровать достаточно высокая, на мы приловчились. Из минусов - солёная вода из кранов в душе и умывальнике. Но это проблема всей прибрежной Кении. Важно не оставлять без присмотра что либо на балконе и не оставлять сам балкон открытым - много мартышек норовит что либо стянуть. Местная охрана их гоняет с рогаток - забавно наблюдать. Кстати об охране: надёжно охраняют доступ к территории отеля от проникновения местного населения начиная от периметра, заканчивая пляжем. Вещи можно свободно оставлять на шезлонгах возле бассейна или вдоль пляжа - никто не возьмёт. Тут однозначно выше всяких похвал. О питании - еда, хоть и не намного разнообразно, вполне сможет удовлетворить чьё либо желание вкусно поесть. Свинины нет, но из мясных блюд постоянно говядина, курица, индейка. Из морепродуктов постоянно жарили филе морской рыбы, жаренный кальмар (осьминог), салаты с морепродуктами. Два раза было мясо крокодила - очень интересный вкус. В качестве первых блюд есть крем-супы (на любителя), говяжий бульон (очень неплох), пару раз за неделю был суп с морепродуктов (потрясающий). Из овощей и фруктов - арбуз, дыня, ананас, бананы, манго, различные местные экзотические фрукты. На завтраки готовили великолепные омлеты. Из напитков - местные напитки неплохи, хотя и уступают импортным (за которые надо отдельно платить). Везде на территории отеля есть доступ к питьевой воде. Великолепный пляж с поразительным белым песком - даже при отливе можно спокойно поплавать в тёплом океане (вода где-то около 30 градусов по Цельсию). Очень активное солнце - запасайтесь кремами. Очень легко обгореть. Из экскурсии - на любой вкус. Лично мы выбрали сафари в национальный парк - увидели в дикой природе жирафов, слонов, зебр и прочих животных. Можно за 20 долларов сплавать на лодке на отмели, которые образуются при отливе - шикарный белый песчаный островок среди океанской воды. Единственным плохим воспоминанием стал полёт домой. Летели компанией Enter air. Очень плохое было отношение бортпроводниц в наш адрес после того, когда узнали, что мы не поляки (авиакомпания из Польши). Именно тот состав бортпроводниц, что летел с нами из Момбаса до Хургады 21 января 2025 рода (ночной рейс ENT 7040) - нас разбудили среди ночи с обвинениями, что мы, якобы, распивали спиртные напитки. Не обнаружив нас выпившими, у нас из ручной клади забрали купленные в duty-free shop аэропорта в Момбасе напитки (запакованные и купленные на подарок). На наши возражения стюардесса и стюард (парень с кучерявой головой) грозились нас высадить в Хургаде (там промежуточная посадка на дозаправку). Вели себя по хамски и оскорбляли нас. Lovely stay made better by the warm welcome from the reception staff and stunning room with a view of the sea.
I was a little apprehensive about my stay from some other reviews from black travellers. I was treated very well by all staff including those in the dining areas. I never once felt as if I was ignored or served slower than guests from Europe. Everyone was very professional and friendly.
The food was great with a good gluten free selection at the buffet including baked gluten free goods (made from maize) for breakfast.
The chefs were great at preparing separate food as well if asked for that was gluten-free.
My room was beautiful although a little worn. The ambience and cleanliness of the property was otherwise stunning. Location also good not far from Ukunda airport. I was also very pleased to find out that Uber also works in Diani so it was easy to transfer to the airport.

Es war ein ganz toller Urlaub, dass Hotel war sehr gemütlich im afrikanischen Stil. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben auch eine dreitägige Safari gemacht, die wird uns unvergesslich bleiben. Die haben wir am Strand bei Joseph gebucht, kann ich nur total empfehlen, Joseph hat die Tour optimal geplant und umgesetzt wir hatten einen freundschaftliches Verhältnis und haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt 👍☺️☺️☺️

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas, the location and beach were terrific with security visible at all times. The restaurant/food was excellent and there were so many different cocktails to choose from. The hotel was spotless and the staff were amazing/ my husband hurt his back whilst there and ended up in the local hospital, whilst he was there the staff helped me move to a downstairs room making it easier when he was discharged and they were all concerned for his welfare. We would certainly choose to have another holiday at this hotel -big thumbs up , thank you.
