Hôtel Villa les Orchidées ★★★★
"Pros: Spacious room (we had a Big Panoramic Suite with Sea and Garden View) with a large bathroom (shower) and a huge terrace with a stunning view! The room has everything you need (air conditioning, fan, kettle, refrigerator), and the bathroom fixtures are new and in excellent condition. The bed is large. Everything is great. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to please. They arrange airport transfers (80,000 local), and you can book excursions (the price is the same as everywhere else). They try to help with any questions. Cons: There's almost no private grounds, only a small but lovely pool with 5-6 sun loungers (always available). It's a 6-minute walk down to the sea, but the sea isn't beautiful; the bottom is muddy, so no one swims. Cons: The breakfast is very poor (pancakes, yogurt, samsa, buns, some fruit, drinks); you have to pay extra for scrambled eggs and omelets (5,600 local). Water is not provided in the room. The toiletries provided are only soap. But the gorgeous view and huge room make up for the downsides :)"
Palm Beach Resort & Spa ★★★★
"We discovered this hotel because it had been a while since we had been to Nosy Bé. We absolutely do not regret our choice. From the arrival shuttle to the departure shuttle, everything was perfect. A beautiful structure, a beach cleaned every day, the staff always smiling and competent, the good food, the activities offered, the pool facing the sea and the superb sunset. A quick word also for its very accessible and caring manager. In short, all this to say that we will return and recommend the Palm Beach Resort and Spa in Nosy Bé"
Holiday Beach Hotel
"Great hotel lovely and quiet and staff were very helpful and very friendly couldn’t do enough for us"
Swisscocobeach ★★★
"Nice hotel with a beautiful ocean view and You can go right in the pool from your room. The restaurant is small and humble with great food. The best thing is to order in advance. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the ac wasnt really up to speed."
Hotel-Residence Au Sable Blanc ★★★
"A majestic site nestled between the lake and the ocean. A large white sand beach on the lake side. Clean bungalows overlooking the beach offer good value for money. A boat shuttle is included, taking you there in 210 minutes from Manambato, located just opposite. We ate at the restaurant under a kiosk on the beach. Tasty dishes at a good price. Very helpful and responsive staff. A must-see!"
Nosy Be Hotel & Spa ★★★★
Régina Lodge Diégo Suarez Madagascar ★★
"We stayed 5 nights and 6 days in this charming small hotel located in the entrance of Diego. The hotel has a few rooms around a beautiful pool. The rooms are clean, comfortable and equipped with air conditioning, which is very pleasant. The restaurant is very good and it is very nice to enjoy the warm welcome and the kindness of the staff. Antonio, the manager, was exemplary: always available, with very good advice, and listening to our needs. The hotel is a great hotel for you and your staff, and we are going back with beautiful memories and a great smile."
Andriana Resort & Spa ★★★★
"Let’s talk about the advantages first: the restaurant has a good view and can see the sea. The room has a bathtub. Let’s talk about shortcomings 1-The location is very poor. There is no beach. To get to the street, you need to walk uphill for fifteen minutes in the dark on a dirt road full of wild dogs. It is very inconvenient to go out or come back at night. 2- The guy at the front desk didn't tell the truth. The various travel items and car rental prices quoted changed from time to time. The price started from the ground up. One minute, it was 42 pounds, and the next minute it was 72 pounds. I took a tuk-tuk to see the macaques. He said that the round trip cost was 120,000 local currency, and 30,000 was enough for me to hail the bus myself. After joining the group, I found that the travel items he mentioned were completely inconsistent and the condition of the boat was also very poor. 3-During my stay, I had bad juice twice for breakfast, bad yogurt once, and meat that was not very fresh once. The room was not cleaned one day during our stay. The swimming pool is quite dirty, so it's okay to take pictures, but there are all kinds of dirty things floating in it when you stand in it. In short: at first glance, the room looked okay, but it was all a routine and the conditions were limited. One of the staff at the front desk was untrustworthy and very uncomfortable to deal with."
Maison le Rêve ★★★
"Newly opened boutique hotel with 4 modern rooms. We had the pleasure of being their first guests. From the beginning, the communication was spectacular. We were greeted warmly by Anne Marie and Pieter upon our arrival, shown to our room and offered a welcome drink. Right away, we felt as welcome there as if we were family. The property is neatly manicured and taken care of with attention to detail. They offer a nightly homemade dinner special. However, we were planning to go out for dinner, but ran into issues with our flight causing us to be on the phone for hours. When hearing this, our hosts offered to make and bring us dinner even though it was nearing 10pm in the evening! Truly going above and beyond. They offer food, beverages and personal airport transfer all for very reasonable prices. Above all else, Anne Marie and Pieter are truly likable and genuine in nature and we would not hesitate to return to stay with them in the future!"

Manga Soa Lodge
"We spent 15 unforgettable days in a relaxing and rejuvenating place. Océane and Romain, thanks to their kindness, their attentiveness and their advice, allowed us to fully enjoy this stay. The staff (reception, maintenance, kitchen, cleaning, etc.) is wonderful and contributes to the well-being felt during our vacation. We were looking for a natural and preserved place and we found it without air conditioning and the weariness of large hotels in France, sometimes. I hope this place will remain this beautiful for a long time to come."
Piscine bimoko
Royal Andilana Resort & Spa
"I stayed 1 week in the hotel Royal Andilana. The room is very clean. The service in the hotel are exelent. I played a lot of voleyball, all animator are very nice and Sylvestre is the best animator for me. The atmosphere was very nice. I recommend this hotel to everyone"
Le Grand Hôtel Diego
"First the good bits: the rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean with decent air-conditioning and reasonable showers. Rooms facing the pool much better than those overlooking the noisy street. The pool is large and clean and the old chap who looks after the cabana containing the towels is friendly and helpful making sure your umbrella gives you the right amount of shade. It’s in a location surrounded by restaurants which is good because the restaurant experience in the hotel is poor. The food is actually okay although they frequently don’t have everything on the menu and the service in the restaurant is dismissive at Best. The staff are completely disinterested, one even took our drinks order then went off and did some admin for 10 minutes before bothering to come back and make a drink for us. They don’t bother answering the phone for room service so don’t think you can get anything delivered. In fact I’m pretty sure they let the phone ring for a bit and then put it down. After an initial attempt at eating there, we went out and experienced local restaurants where the service was much better. We are not novices in Madagascar having spent eight weeks travelling around and I can catch correctly say, it is the worst service of any anyway that we have stayed. Such a shame. I’ve given them a three because of the cleanliness and the facilities but if I was rating service, it would be a one. Stay here by all means but don’t bother asking them to provide any services."
Nosy Bay View
"A beautiful place with a lovely view. The room is spacious and comfortable, with hot water in the bathroom. What makes this hotel so charming is the simplicity of the place and the owners. We'd definitely stay here again, as the prices are affordable for residents like us who work in Nosybe. It's very clean, and the pool is lovely. You can recharge your batteries in a welcoming and quiet place. We'll definitely be back."
Emeraude Lodge
"Beautiful lodge with great service. We loved the kayaks you could take out whenever you wanted. The pool was well-maintained and clean with crystal clear water. We arranged a snorkeling tour with them and everything was coordinated beautifully. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Andilana beach - very safe, passing many other tourist hotels along the way - it was a better beach for hanging out and other food options. We stayed in a stand-alone hut, which was cute and had good mosquito netting, though next time, I'd opt for a room with air conditioning."
Hotel Mahita Tsara
"Excellent in all areas"
Corail Noir Hotel
"It's as if you are not in a hotel, but in a family! The garden is beautiful, the food is fantastic! (The breakfast could be a bit more varied.) Definitely a place to return to!"
Royal Beach Hôtel
"I spent two absolutely wonderful weeks at Royal Beach in Nosy Be. The overall standard was impressively high, the food was downright exceptional, and the atmosphere had that perfect mix of relaxation and island charm. I honestly didn’t expect my vacation to turn out this amazing. Special shoutout to the head chef and the assistant manager, who both went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless - their dedication truly made a difference. Highly recommended! Praise the sun! ;)"
Ravintsara Wellness Hotel
"Nestled in lush greenery, Ravintsara Wellness is the ideal place to discover the beauty and laid-back lifestyle of Nosy Be. Between turquoise lagoons, white sand beaches, and the fragrant scent of ylang-ylang, each day is an invitation to escape. The hotel combines refined comfort, warm hospitality, and top-notch services for an unforgettable stay. Its spa, swimming pool, and exquisite cuisine make it a true sanctuary of relaxation. Whether you're seeking adventure, tranquility, or romance, Ravintsara Wellness is the perfect gateway to exploring the wonders of Nosy Be."
Hotel Naka
"Clean hotel. Good place in the main street of Diego. Access to all restaurants, banks, supermarket Score, and other walking distance. Spacious rooms with air conditioning. Balcony. Patron (the father) nice. nice staff. Negative point: very noisy because it gives on the street and also builds an enlargement of the hotel so disagreement of the yard. No meals only breakfast. But no problem to restore in the nearby"
Tropical Paradise Nosy Be
"The positive points Hotel well located on the beach. Helpful and accommodating staff. Meals and room correct The negative points The advantages of full board are difficult to identify (one time choice from the menu, one time choice from the board, one time choice from both...light breakfast). No generator in case of power cuts which are frequent on the island."
Orangea Beach Resort
"Very nice small hotel, right on the beach, away from the hustle and bustle of the city (by tuk tuk about 30 min). Friendly, very nice and helpful staff, very clean rooms, large balcony with a sea view. Fresh and very good food, and young, friendly and smiling people at the pool bar will take care of your good mood with local drinks. If you are looking for a party and animation, this is probably not the hotel for you, but if you value peace, relaxation, rest, then you must choose this hotel."
VOI Amarina Resort
"Welcoming structure with attention to detail. We stayed as a group with friends (20 people) in superior rooms (about 40 m2) with bathroom equipped with shower, bathtub and separate toilet. Excellent quality cuisine with grilled catch of the day always present. Friendly staff available to meet guests' needs. We used the laundry service after an excursion in the forest which had reduced our clothing smeared with mud and noted the perfect cleanliness of the items upon return. Unfortunately we spent the first two days of our stay between the room, the bar and the dining room as a pouring and incessant rain persecuted us for over 48 hours but when the sun came out, which then never abandoned us, we fully enjoyed the wonderful landscape. The entertainment is present but never nagging and in any case the kids worked hard to cheer up the guests with various tournaments and shows. We took advantage of the diving although, due to the bad weather in the first few days, we were unable to fully enjoy the seabed due to poor visibility and a less than optimal sea. If our stay was pleasant and unforgettable, I would like to compliment those who make this structure efficient, tidy, with attention to the smallest details, namely Marco, the director of the Amarina, always present and available at any time of the day. As I have personally reported, an orchestra plays well when all the musicians are directed by a good maestro and this is what we have seen in the working group that Marco and his staff bring the structure to maximum industriousness and productivity on a daily basis. We are already thinking about the next holiday even though this one only ended a few days ago and we will certainly give it a little thought when we return to the Amarina, in the meantime we advise anyone who still has doubts to abandon them and book a stay in this enchanting place."
