We recently stayed here for a few days to get away from KTM and loved being out in nature. Some in our group stayed in a Bungalow and some in a tent. Both were just fine for us, not fancy but clean and neat. We could hear the rushing river, hear the birds and the wind in the trees. This place has a lovely ambiance. The layout along the mountainside is amazing. The food was good, hot, filling, tasty and plentiful. I did have challenges explaining my drink order sometimes to whoever was at at bar. Eventually, we would get it sorted out. We had no issues with hospitality. All the staff we encountered were courteous. For the adventure aspect the canyoning and bungee/swing activities are run by real professionals. We always felt safe. I particularly appreciated the canyoning piece. Sometimes you do these things and its wimpy waterfalls and the whole thing is just to take pictures and video and sell you a photoshoot by guides who just want to get the whole thing over with. But these guides are professionals and the whole day was about real canyoning, safely. We brought our waterproof camera and so did some others. The staff made time for us to snap shots but their entire focus was on the event, being professional and safe. Some of those falls are no joke. They started us out on two smaller falls to get used the equipment, the team and the tactics. Then we did some larger ones, some slightly smaller ones and two quite long ones. It was definitely worth the money. Some in our group did the bungee swing and loved it. Again we were all impressed with the seriousness and professionalism of the staff and the safety redundancy of the gear. Now the negative: trash. The resort itself is clean but the moment you take one step outside the boundaries the whole area is covered with trash. One the way to the canyoning activity you get to walk through rubbish, the village opposite the bridge is strewn with rubbish. During the hike to the peak you get to huff and puff past rubbish. Its unfortunate but true. I would recommend this place to others with a word of advice. Schedule the rafting event the day you drive from KTM. Other guests did this and it seemed to make a lot of sense instead of driving to the Last Resort, then driving an hour back down the river to raft and an hour back up to the resort.
