We had an amazing time! We brought our dog and the hotel was more than accommodating to him. Walkable to tons of restaurants and bars. The staff (and especially the manager) were great too!

Good location for the beach and receptionist on arrival very friendly and welcoming. To be honest we did not like it at all we were due to stay 3 nights but only stayed 1 as didn’t like the accommodation was bugs, tired, basic lacking, terrible lighting and bathroom snd air con was awful really noisy and didnt seem any point complaining as would imagine all rooms the same so we just left the next morning. Most people staying had dogs constantly walking past our downstairs window and barking. More dogs than people on the beach couldn’t relax. Just not for us I’m afraid. Disappointing paid again to stay elsewhere.

The check-in staff was super friendly, their friendliness caught me off guard. It was really nice. The beds were clean and comfy. The bathroom was clean (shower was clean but has seen better days). The floors were dirty (sand and other debris). For pet fees, don't misread "Pet fee for all pets is $35 per night." it's per pet, per night. They we kind about it and only charged us for the 1. There also is not a way to pay for more than 1 on the website. All in, I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were nice. We had 2 rooms. One was very clean. The other had pizza from the previous guest in the freezer and the shower curtain was mildewy.

We take a yearly trip to Dewey every year and usually get a beach house for a full week. This year, we decided to take a shorter trip and book a room instead. After much research, we decided to go with the Block Party hotels. At first we were skeptical considering beach rooms are usually seedy and dirty. However, much to our surprise our room was bright, clean and comfortable . There are two pools on either side and both have plenty of space, shade and sun depending on your preference. The attached coffee house has beautiful deck where you can utilize the extra space for a nice sunset happy hour or a comfortable breakfast. The service was also fantastic. Check in was really easy and towels were provided upon request. The outside gym was a nice bonus as well.
Best of all though, is the location. The hotel can’t have a better location in Dewey- barely a block from the beach with lots of dining options surrounding.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun spot in Dewey.

I loved how close the hotel is to the beach and restaurants. I liked sitting on the roof top deck and listening to the music coming from the nightlife. The staff were very nice. I definitely will return.
