The Aloft Detroit is a beautiful hotel! Everyone was so nice & very professional, so friendly and very helpful. They made you feel very special. It is in a great location, right across from Tiger Stadium & Ford Field, and only 1/2 mile from Little Caesars Arena. Lots of great restaurants withing walking distance. The rooms were very nice, exceptionally clean and the beds were so comfortable. Will absolutely be staying at the Aloft again!

Location, Location, Location and Mike at night! We are jazz lovers so we attend the Detroit Jazz Festival every Labor Day Weekend. We stay at the Hotel David Whitney because it is a short walk down Woodward Avenue to the festival. Also, the hotel is right down the street from Cliff Bell’s Jazz Club & Restaurant. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and they have the BEST night crew, especially MIKE! We checked in very late at night and Mike took our baggage up to our room. On the third night of the DJF, we got back to our room very late and Mike made it possible for us to have a salad and sandwich dinner. Mike exemplifies the definition of “proper service”. PS He didn’t even want to accept a tip!

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel David Whitney. The hotel is restored beautifully but the true star is the staff! Exceptional hospitality from the entire staff! Special thanks to Eva & Mike for the warm welcome & for going above and beyond to make our stay in Detroit so memorable.
