I have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, this time I left an item behind. I realized my mistake within hours and called housekeeping, which confirmed that my item had been found. That was weeks ago, and I still have not received my item. We have called at least six times and talked to at least three different staff members, including a manager. We have sent at least as many emails. There was no response to most of our calls or emails, and when staff members promised to call us back, they did not. When were were able to speak to someone, they told us that we must go to Fed Ex and buy our own mailing label and send it to the hotel. I have done so, and have still not received my property or a return call or email. At this point I have spent far more in time and frustration than my item is worth, although I really would like it back. I have forgotten property at a Marriott hotel and it was returned quickly and without fuss. The difference with this Hilton property has been astonishing and frustrating.
