Desert Palms Alice Springs Reviews

The cabins are excellent, spacious with a vaulted wooden ceiling, comfy bed, good shower and spotlessly clean. It is quiet and 20-25 mins walk from the centre of Alice Springs. The reception staff were very helpful and there is a locked room for luggage storage.

Friendly staff. Facilities were fine but the pool was oh so cold!

Air conditioning system only works when the key is inserted. Other than that, the place is great for the value with nice pool and cooking utensils.

"Misleading and Unprofessional Service" I would strongly advise against booking this villa. We reserved accommodation for 5 adults, only to be informed upon check-in that the advertised bunk bed, which was meant to accommodate adults, was actually too fragile and "a little small" for anyone over a certain size. When we inspected the bed, it was already bent. Instead of addressing the issue, the staff insisted we pay extra to make any changes, which felt completely unreasonable. The overall space was extremely cramped, and the quality of the accommodations was far below expectations. This property is not suited for adults despite their misleading advertising. There are far better, more affordable options available elsewhere. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

we enjoyed a lot our stay in Desert Palms, cosy bungalows, walking distance from city, good pool, very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. It is great the bungalows have a kitchenette well equiped. Beds could be better but overall we sleep well.

Great swimming pool

The hotel has a beautiful environment, with independent small villas under tall palm trees. Cars can be parked at the door. The rooms are big enough and very quiet at night. Dining is inconvenient.

Cars can be parked outside the room, and the kitchen equipment is quite complete, but the quilts look old. If you don't drive, there is a bus stop at the door, which is quite convenient to take to the city center.
