The Brandywine, Radnor, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

"Stunning property. Beautiful lobby curated with local and regional nods to the area. Impressive fireplaces and lounge/work area. Front desk staff welcoming and attentive. Convenient covered parking adjacent to hotel a real plus since no valet. Rooms large, tasteful and functional. Housekeeping failed on every level for us. FIrst room, leftover clothes from prior guests in drawers. Second room, t.v on upon arrival., bed apparently used to lounge on to keep up with soccer games, toilet seat up, and fresh glass rings on desk. Growing pains (new hotel) or a supervision issue. Bath was stocked with 2 clearly marked conditioners, 1 shampoo and NO body wash on wall units. DIscovered while in shower. Had to go down to front desk to request and one was delivered for us to replace. NO daily service. Again dictated we go to desk this time for additional towels. Suspect all training, supervision issues for a new hotel to straighten out. Property itself gorgeous, restaurant was excellent and very distinct overall for area."

"Checked in at 3 and room was net ready had to wait in car. Watched the housekeepers, who were not polite and rushed through without mopping the disgusting laminate floor. Told them it looked like blood on mattress pad that they would not change. Would not take a shower because the bathroom was so gross. Stains on shower curtain. The front window had a huge crack in it that was taped to keep the glass together. There was a hole in the wall that looked like maybe something was living in there."

"I have traveled all around the world and I swear this was the worst experience ever. First of all the Indian person at the lobby is an ***** who don’t know how to talk to guests. There were no tissues, soaps, shampoo, slippers in the toilet, the room was extremely dirty, it smelled like sheep’s. I requested him to just give me these basic necessities. So the ***** Indian said this is not a 5 star hotel…….. imagine no, soap, tissue, shampoo in the toilet, so how do you clean yourself? The bed sheets smelled like sheep, first he refused to accept it, then he said I will go to your room and smell it myself. Upon smelling it himself he admired it. The room was dirty like people *** inside it and it wasn’t cleaned. The water came from the toilet wall to the room, the washroom was full of big cockroaches. Believe me, the rooms are inside a jungle with no security. I was very afraid that few people remained seated infront of my door and were drinking and smoking, gangsters type people. Please don’t come here, its not safe, clean and peaceful"
