This hotel earns its 5-star rating thanks to GM John Lerchen and his exceptional staff for providing excellent customer service and exemplary elite recognition. As Platinum guests, we were upgraded to a suite with lounge benefits. Unfortunately, the lounge's breakfast offerings were dismal. The coffee was literally undrinkable due to what must have been a malfunctioning machine, with no option for regular drip. The only bagel variety provided was cinnamon raisin, which didn't exactly go with with their nice spread of smoked salmon and fixings. When I voiced my frustration, I was promptly offered the alternative of the restaurant for the next day, which provided a generous buffet, including made-to-order eggs, though I certainly would have preferred real Michigan maple syrup to the Smucker's fake variety which was provided. The suite was spacious and comfortable, though I do have some quibbles. There was a bench placed directly in front of the bed which resulted in my wife and I bumping into it at night painfully multiple times over our two-night stay. I wished the TV was chromecast-enabled, but at least like some other Marriott properties, you could stream Netflix and Amazon Prime. The position of the light switches was also frustrating; they were almost all uniformly placed in unexpected locations. It's unlikely that we'll find ourselves in Dearborn again, but if we did, I would certainly return to this hotel.

Stayed here for one night between visiting the museum and the Ford Rouge plant. Enjoyed staying right near the ford museum. The hotel was quite lovely and our room was very enjoyable. Both the quality of the bed linens and the bath towels were very good. My only complaint about the bath was that the water pressure in the shower was very weak. The reason that I did not give this property 5⭐️ was for two reasons … 1) parking in the lot was very limited and way far in the back row due to two events that night and I will never do valet. 2) the only way to enjoy a continental breakfast was through room service and we will never eat in our room when traveling. Full breakfast was available in the restaurant for an outrageous price so we decided to pick a local breakfast place of which turned out to be a very good choice! However, overall we were quite pleased and would return if in the area again.
