By far the best place to stay in Daytona. They have done a fantastic job renovating the property and rooms. Large rooms with 2nd room kitchen. Views were great and beds very comfortable. Bonus was the wonderful donuts for free every morning. I come to Daytona annually and this will be the only place I stay.

LOVED staying here! Everything from the room to the amenities, to the beach and the ocean front view to the friendliness of the staff to being pet friendly to the donuts and coffee in the morning. The experience is unmatched! I will definitely book another stay here in the near future :)

This was our 4th time staying here, grounds were very nice, room was great, wonderful indoor pool....and the front desk girl who helped us (Michelle) was the absolute best!!!

The location is excellent. There are issues however. Our ice bucket was missing the insulated liner - not a big deal but caused extra trips to ice machine. Water pressure is extremely low. If you have long hair you're gonna have a problem. The elevators work about 85% of the time daily and I was a bit disappointed there were no sodas to purchase on site. The floors were sandy and dirty the entire stay and were that way on arrival. If you walk barefoot on the floor, your feet are dirty and bottoms covered in sand. Maid service was somewhat ok but not what one would normally expect, especially from a resort hotel. Had to ask for shower gel refills, toilet tissue, etc. Having been in the hotel business as Innkeeper and having family owned hotels in Daytona Beach in the past, I would give Perry's Ocean Edge a 2 out of 5 rating

We stayed in an oceanfront efficacy room in the north tower of Perry’s Ocean Edge Resort. The room was very clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Everyone was very friendly and polite. The ocean view was spectacular! It was a perfect room for celebrating our 48th anniversary. I liked that the room didn’t have carpet since we had our puppy. The only reason for a 4* instead of a 5* is the bed! It was like lying on a rock even though the mattresses looked very new. Probably they needed to be broken in more! I would definitely recommend this hotel for the gorgeous ocean views!

The location, room and amenities were great but the staff puts Perry's above the rest. The donuts at breakfast were a treat, the outdoor pools overlooking the beach were clean and perfect temperature. AMAZING 3 DAYS!

do not stay here - they have roaches and their response is " we cannot control palmetto bugs" that is gross and unacceptable, in the years i live and stay in resorts in florida never has a hotel said that. THIS IS NOT A RESORT - DO NO WASTE YOUR MONEY! towels are small!! and my kids couldnt sleep because they could hear everything in the next room. also it was "non smoking" but all over the corridors there were cigarrette butts, disgusting.
