Amazing hotel! It really is more like a resort with a lot of things to discover. Unfortunately, probably due to the current pandemic situation, not everything has been in operation. You got a little nice bar for the occasional long-nighter 😅 there and a restaurant with a huge menu of different meals. The restaurant service has been unbelievable quick to serve the fresh cooked dishes. The hotel itself has been quite clean and the service staff always been helpful. Do not expect anyone speaking English thou. The whole surrounding is taken care of with visible passion and still you feel like in the middle of the jungle. If you got some time to spare, walk around the little village outside the hotel and try to find the small beautiful almost historic part of it, still being actively lived in by the locals. Just please always be respectful and cautious not to disturb them in any way. FYI: if you arrive there by bus from from Nanning (南宁) to DaXin (大新) (the ride itself is absolutely worth it), there are local drivers Infront of the bus station who know how to get to the hotel. Just make sure not to pay more then 250 RMB. Also make sure all your health codes, passports, visas, etc are all in order and quickly handy. After all it is a border region and the are a lot of checkpoints to pass through. That's no time to mess up anything.

You must try it if you have the opportunity. It is a completely different travel experience from buying tickets by yourself. Finally, there are some shortcomings. The bamboo rafting project is relatively cost-effective. The afternoon tea is exposed to the sun outdoors and the taste is completely unpalatable. This project can be re-evaluated.

This time when I went to Guangxi, the best place to stay was Shanshui Meisu. There was a stream under the balcony of the room, and it was very comfortable. Whenever she met us, she took the initiative to introduce us to various local beautiful scenery and food. When she took the bicycle, she carefully wiped the seat clean. I was embarrassed to run back and forth with the luggage that I felt was heavy. When we parted, she also gave us gifts. It was so cute. We had a great time chatting. I hope the little girl can have a better future, have her own career, and have a bright future. I'd like to praise another male waiter, I think his last name was Qin, the guy who drove the bamboo raft for us. He was a very lively guy, very good at chatting, and always had a lot of topics to talk about. During the tour, we were so happy that we laughed our heads off. He is definitely a hidden treasure.

The room is small but well-equipped. I was basically outside during the day, and the night view was still very eye-catching when I came back at night. The hotel and the Old Kapok Hotel have the same check-in counter. After entering the gate, there is a different world. Not only can you check in at the border monument, you can also drive the RV to the camp for a self-service barbecue, and you can also sweat on the basketball court with your family or a few friends^_^

To put things in perspective, accomodation in the area is quite expensive, so this accomodation is rather value for money. The 鱼鳞坝, one of the sights is just a stone's throw away which make it very convenient. Breakfast is super simple. Room is clean and AI enabled. Reception is very polite, even coming out to help get our luggage from the cab and show us to our room. Oh, be prepared to wake early by roosters if u are a light sleeper and maybe some mozzies in the room. It is the countryside no matter what.
