Villas at Regal Palms

Very run down unit with multiple issues. All bedrooms were upstairs even after requesting lower bedroom unit for elderly parents when booking. Nobody willing to help with issues nor respond to ANY text messages sent to maintenance...they said text requests for maintenance and housekeeping issues. LONG drive to the pool area. Two very friendly girls at front desk during check in and two VERY rude ones during our stay. Tara at the pool towel area is a complete doll!! LOTS of non working games in arcade turned off and a few that were on took our money multiple times so just be cautious. Walls are very thin so you hear everything from neighbors and noise time limits are irrelevant (chaos at 2:20am was a little too much for us). Ended up checking out early because it was just not worth staying any longer. Amenities are pool, lazy river, hot tub, and slide (all water related). The water/pool area were very well kept with lots of seating options. Make sure you take your own tubes for lazy river as they are not supplied. We're a little more used to other options so just be aware there is nothing else. Tara is the reason this place gets two stars instead of one. Also, this is not a resort but a homeowners community that rent out some units to vacationers. In saying that there are also homeowners that were working on they vehicles in the driveway by us, doing repair work to a motorcycle, and cleaning out work vehicles. We understand people that live there need to work on things but we had no idea of that part and it's just not a resort style or feel. Definitely wouldn't recommend nor go back.

Six of us four adults and two children stayed for 7 days at Regal Palms Resort. Pool area was very nice - clean, lovely landscaping, heated pool, lazy river and a water slide. We loved it. The housing was older and showing wear. The beds were very comfortable and everything worked but it was not as clean as it could have been. The upstairs needs a better vacuum and there was not vacuum in the unit. There was mold around the sink in the kitchen and the rims of the toilets. The refrigerator had an ice dispenser which we appreciated. We would stay there again but hope the unit would be cleaner. It was about a 45 minute drive from the Orlando airport in good traffic conditions.

Place was large 3 bedroom condo with full kitchen. The finishes were older and should be updated. The distance from Condo to the Pool was great. Pool should have been more centrally located with the condo spaces. We had an ant problem and maintenance came over within 2 hours so that was good.

Loved this area close to Publix and great shopping area clean huge rooms. Friendly check in ., .Professional staff. We had 4 bedrooms with one of them downstairs with bath. Having 2 master baths was great also having 3 1/2 baths was great. We well come back here again.

We stayed here for a week and overall had a good experience, though there were definitely some issues worth noting. The staff were friendly and welcoming—allowing us early access to the resort before check-in after our long 18-hour trip, and even giving our kids a pool tube that had been left behind, which they loved. The resort grounds, pool, and gym were very clean and well-maintained. Our unit, however, was more of a mixed bag. While spacious and comfortable in many ways, we did encounter a couple of small cockroaches, which was unsettling. Thankfully, we did not find any bedbugs after a thorough inspection, but the sight of cockroaches in the unit left us uneasy for the rest of the week. There were also some maintenance issues like stains on the carpet, a laundry room light that only worked half the time, and a broken dishwasher rack. Location was excellent—convenient to Disney, SeaWorld, Universal, and even within driving distance of both coasts. Stores and restaurants were just minutes away, and we never had problems with noise from traffic or other guests (outside of the ever-present cicadas). Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and even the sleeper sofa was a hit with our son. The only complaint was a mattress pad that shifted at night. Otherwise, we slept well and appreciated the darkening wood blinds in every room. The rooms had a beachy vibe, and bathrooms were roomy with jacuzzi tubs. The upstairs double-queen bedroom was cramped, though, and some furniture details (like uneven headboards, taped TV remotes, and screeching dining chairs) could use attention. On the plus side, water pressure and hot water were excellent, Wi-Fi worked well, and overall the space was functional for a family. In summary: the resort had a great location, friendly service, and comfortable amenities, but the cleanliness issues—especially the cockroaches—prevent me from giving a higher rating. With better pest control and some maintenance updates, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

We had a great vacation. We were there for 2 weeks. They accommodated us with staying in the same unit so we wouldn't have to move. The pool area is great. The restaurant food is good. The area is clean. The staff is friendly. Some things are outdated but in all it was great!
