This inn has the vibes of a decent hotel room. Plus points are its great location, loft experience and long heritage. The interior decorations are full of description of its long history. The room is clean and well maintained.

Very good location, at a walking distance from Old town, we felt super safe and comfortable here! Staff: definitely the top reason to stay here, they made our stay unforgettable and went the extra mile to help us out organize our excursions, thanks for everything! Room: superb, clean, spacious, good bed, great! Top Breakfast. The picture was taken from the dining room, so those are the views from some rooms.

Basic accommodation w excellent location. Walking distance to Old city wall, Nine dragon pew. Many choices of traditional noodles are nearby. Liked the corner stall near to Museum ( a few units away), noodle w clear soup & chicken shreds, which was not heavily laden w chilly oil. Good restaurant food at ” 3 Dish Menu”. Commendation: The lady boss was extremely attentive & warm. Help us with reliable transportation arrangements to Wooden pagoda, Hanging monastry & Yungang Grottoes. Appreciated her help - booking tickets to a cultural show & going the extra miles to fetch us back in the rain.

The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....

EN: Had a good night. Room is very clean and very good. Service and people from the hotel are very nice and very helpful, willing to help without a doubt if you have any question or issue, truly very nice. The only ‘bad thing’ I find is if that you are a light sleeper very sensible of sounds like me, sounds like the refrigerator from the room can be a little bit annoying, but I disconnected it and was ok. In general a very good experience. ES: Pasé una buena noche. La habitación está muy limpia y es muy buena. El servicio y las personas del hotel son muy amables y serviciales, dispuestas a ayudar sin dudarlo si tienes alguna pregunta o problema, realmente muy agradables. Lo único ”malo” que encuentro es que si eres una persona que duerme ligero y muy sensible a los sonidos como yo, el ruido del refrigerador de la habitación puede ser un poco molesto, pero lo desconecté y estuvo bien. En general, una muy buena experiencia.

The hotel is situated not far from the old walled town and equal distance to the shopping area. Formerly a Holiday Inn now independent. The rooms are large and comfortable with good work desk and wifi. Comfortable bed gives good rest. The fridge had been removed but there is kettle and plenty of water, every day some fruit was delivered to the room which I appreciated. Hotel has gym, swimming pool and two restaurant, given the price it was very good value for money and I would happily stay again.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The best hotel for traveling, no doubt about it, the most satisfactory choice, the owner is kind and friendly, the hotel is in the best location in the ancient city, the breakfast is exquisite and varied, drinks and coffee are free, the courtyard is quiet and simple, a quiet place in the bustling city, and the owner gave me the vinegar I always wanted to taste before leaving. If you say the reason for coming to Datong again, this homestay accounts for more than half of the reason. The children don’t want to go out every day, just like staying in the homestay. The most worth mentioning is the hotel’s pick-up service, which can arrange cost-effective chartered car services. There are many drivers, and they are good at geographical location, scenic environment, and historical culture. They took fewer detours and avoided many pitfalls. It is strongly recommended to charter a car to save worry and safety and ensure the travel experience. Come again in August

Location of the hotel is right at the heart of the city, within walking distance (~2 kms) to the Ancient City Wall, and about 20 minutes drive from the train station (Datongnan). The staff are very polite and courteous, and did allow us for an early check-in and a late check-out. 30 minutes drive to the Yungang Grotto, and about 90 minutes to the Hanging Temple (Xuankong Si). 5/5 recommend to anyone traveling to Datong.

On of the most beautiful hotel in town, modern with old decoration spirit. Great for city trip travelers. People nice and helpful. We loved our stay !
