This was an unplanned stay; I originally intended to head straight to my next destination, but the rain kept us here. I quickly chose this hotel, and when I called for directions in the pouring rain, they responded promptly, and we found it without a hitch. The two young ladies at the front desk were very patient. The room was spacious, and even with my parents' numerous bags, there was plenty of room. It featured smart home controls throughout and a double vanity. We easily pushed the beds together, and the three adults and one child slept very comfortably. It's not far from Zini and Longjuxiang, but it's better to take a taxi rather than drive, as there's no parking. We stayed near the old town yesterday, but it's definitely more comfortable staying in a residential area like this.

The few days I stayed in Datong were the most comfortable days I stayed in during my whole trip to Shanxi. For me, who is a germaphobe, the Hualu Hotel is completely up to standard. Everything from toiletries to in-house facilities are high-end, far beyond five-star. The only shortcoming is the breakfast, which needs to be improved~ Welcome fruits and desserts: delivered to the room every day

The front desk staff were very helpful and tried their best to accommodate all our requests; they were very enthusiastic. The housekeeping staff were also exceptionally warm and friendly. Facilities: The rooms are fully automated and offer excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for your travels.

100% full marks, absolutely glowing review! The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. It's super convenient to get to the Ancient City by taxi, taking only about ten minutes, and even at night, it doesn't cost more than 20 RMB. The hotel also has an underground parking garage, so the car isn't hot at all when you get in. I absolutely have to rave about the breakfast – it was mind-blowing!!! I loved the lamb offal noodle soup; it wasn't too salty and had no ***** smell, truly excellent. There was also a great variety of other dishes. I've had the German sausage before at the Nanjing intercity hotel, and it's really good; it must be a hotel specialty. I'll definitely choose this hotel again just for the breakfast, haha!

A city, a hotel, a harvest. The wind and dust came to Datong. I was very fortunate to choose this orange crystal in Dongxin Square. The fatigue of a journey was gently healed here. Just walked into the lobby, warm lighting, simple and high-end decoration, instantly unloaded the rush all the way. The hotel is very new, the room is transparent and spacious, there is no decoration smell, dry and wet separation, smart bathroom, comfortable mattress, every detail is full of care. In the bustling Dongxin business district, the room is particularly quiet, and a good night's sleep is the most precious happiness of travel. The front desk service is gentle and intimate, and you can respond in time if you need it. The breakfast is rich in variety, and you can also eat authentic Datong noodles, a fireworks in the world, full of warmth. The location is convenient, parking is free, and travel to the ancient city and various attractions is very smooth. Find a safe place to live in a foreign country, orange crystal is not only a night's stay, but also a warm little surprise on Datong trip. I remember that the two beautiful women of the hotel, Xiao Yi and Xiao Yan, were caring before I checked in, greetings during the stay and seeing off when I left, and they were meticulous and warm to the heart. Next time I come to Datong, this must be my first choice. I sincerely recommend it to every traveler who goes to this ancient city.

Great soundproofing and spacious rooms. The toilet and shower are completely separate, which is a nice touch. The service is excellent and very welcoming. The air conditioning is powerful yet quiet. I'll definitely book this Atour hotel again next time I'm in Datong.

Sitting on the soft, comfortable sofa, I quietly savored the tea, enjoying the sense of peace and relaxation. Outside, there might have been the occasional city buzz, but in this small room, it felt like I was completely cut off from the outside world, leaving only inner tranquility and calm. This stay experience was simply flawless, and I have no hesitation in giving it a full and enthusiastic five-star review.

The hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are spacious and not cramped. The shower water pressure is strong and comfortable. The staff are also very polite and courteous. There's no need to worry about food; there are various restaurants downstairs. During my stay, I encountered the following issues: 1. Due to the off-season, some floors were closed, making upgrades impossible. This wasn't shown on the booking page or mentioned beforehand. 2. I booked a room with breakfast included, but again, due to the off-season, the hotel didn't offer a buffet breakfast; only bread and milk were delivered to the room. This was unacceptable. After complaining to Ctrip, they provided a solution. I understand that offering a buffet during the off-season would increase operating costs, but an à la carte system could be implemented. They could ask guests what they would like for breakfast upon check-in, such as noodles, milk, soy milk, steamed buns, porridge, etc., and prepare accordingly to avoid waste. 3. There was a slight odor in the room. I'm not sure if it's because it's newly opened, but it was barely acceptable. Those sensitive to smells might find it bothersome.
