The room was clean and the front desk service was very warm and thoughtful. It is very close to the Datong Museum. I made a fully qualified room arrangement according to my accommodation requirements. It was too warm. I gave a small gift box when I checked in, but I had already eaten it. I forgot to take pictures. When I left, I also sent a small gift! It's this blue little pimp horse, so cute! Next time I come to Datong, I will stay at this hotel!

I had a great one night stay at the Hauting Hotel. It’s a large, modern hotel conveniently located in a building attached to a big shopping centre, which made it easy to grab food or essentials. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with individual heating and cooling and electric opening and closing window dressings. The shower had excellent water temperature and pressure, and the bathroom was well-stocked with quality toiletries including shampoo, body wash, toothbrush, and toothpaste. A great bonus was the free laundry facilities. It has a gym also but I didn’t try that. Breakfast featured a nice spread of Asian cuisine, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend it to others visiting Datong.

酒店與大同古城牆不到3公里。房間號後兩位是06的房間裏都會有一根邊長1米的正方形柱子，距離床邊約20釐米，夜間去衞生間下床很容易碰到腿腳。枕頭的高度和和軟硬度還可以。房間牆面上有一些服務內容，但要麼其中的一些項目實際沒有（比如僅有咖啡沒有熱巧）、要麼無法使用（比如電視投屏）。提供了需要掃碼交費使用的三頭usb充電器，有能用但實際需要修理的吹風機。提供的互聯網WiFi是中國移動的寬帶，需要手機號登錄，上下行速度約4M/s。早餐還行。雖然可以停車，但車位應該是所在大廈的，與旁邊的如家等共用，在前台領取優惠，停車費減半至1.5元/小時。總體感覺清明期間600多元的單價偏高了。經出租車司機介紹，酒店附近有家喜晉道連鎖麪館還不錯。另外走幾百米是比較熱門的北魏家宴（這個品牌在新建的古城裡麪也有店），一碗豬肉刀削麪的價格是6元，味道不錯，給的量也夠。
