Residence Inn Halifax Dartmouth

This is a newer property and it offers the big 3 that I require in a room. Clean, quiet and comfortable. I must say that the room was indeed that. We had a suite that had a full kitchen and we were happy with everything it offered. However. There was not one piece of artwork on the walls. No big deal, it just looked a little funny. The bathroom mirror was very hard to use. While it was a lit mirror, it was very dim and my wife found it hard to put on her make up. My biggest complaint was the "free" breakfast that was included with our stay. The room was packed, the food very sub par and they had paper plates and plastic cutlery. We ate there once and then went out to a proper restaurant for breakfast for the rest of our stay. I would have preferred a slight reduction in the room rate and have no breakfast.

Well kept, helpful staff. Cute dishes and a dishwasher in our little kitchen. Loved it. Pool, hot tub.

Bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had a good variety of options. Had the 1 bedroom suite,which had a kitchen, came fully equipped, was really nice. Pool was great, and I enjoyed the waterslide. Will be returning.
