Great Location, located by lower ferry, room in period setting in keeping with furnishings, quality bedding, Amazing is it gonna rain farm house cooked breakfast, Slig tha Slightly noisy in the late evenings, but earplugs are provided if required. This is the yellow stone.

We had a very nice meal at this pub/cafe/restaurant. Bonus for us that allow dogs. We probably would have had dessert, but the staff didn’t really offer 🤷♀️

Good things Lovely room with great sitting area and oozing character The inn itself feels fresh and clean but with the atmosphere of a property that’s been there for hundreds of years. Great location right a few yards from the river and Harbour front Breakfast lovely and liked the later 11am finish time which was much better than most hotels Not so good 10.30 checkout. Far too early after only being able to check in at 3pm. Not a place to lie in. Quiet from 11 to 6amish when the next door pub shuts and before the kitchen next to the room (staying top of the stairs) starts work but after, forget it.

Ate in the restaurant on a Sunday night. The waiting staff were extremely polite and helpful, despite their being on shift from 9am (it was 8.30pm) on what must have been a busy summer day. The food was good as was the wine. Nice quiet vibe which suited us. Thank you.

Elegant and welcoming
Lovely touches in the room, handmade soap, face cloths, earplugs, little goodie bag on checkout.
Team were all amazing.
Lovely breakfast served with great coffee.
Great spot right on the cove where you can sit and watch the boats come and go.

Interestingly old. Anybody with balance or movement issues avoid Drake Suite. Restaurant food excellent.n Breakfast superb.

We stayed 2 nights at The Bayard Cove Inn whilst hiking the Southwest Coastal Path. We arrived and were kindly received at the bar by staff for check in. We were taken up several flights of steps to the attic room. This space had 2 levels and a staircase as well. No worries. We were hikers. Our bathroom was ensuite but on the lower level. The room beams were original and our spacious room was comfortable clean and had a sitting area as well as a sleeping area. Linens were crisp and towels were large and comfortable. We loved this space!
