Wanda Jin Hotspring Danzhai ★★★★★

📍 300 meters south of Loupai of Kala Village, Jinzhong Avenue, Danzhai

"As expected of Wanda Resort Hotel, it was truly wonderful! I forgot to take pictures though 📷. Both the hotel environment and the service were excellent. The hotel is perfect for families with children, and it even has a hot spring. The grounds are large and clean, and they sometimes host events. I'll definitely choose Danzhai Wanda Resort Hotel again next time I bring my kids."

📍 Longquan Avenue Longquan Times No.89, Longquan Town, Danzhai

"Danzhai county is quite small, so it was good to find a chain hotel here. The room was excellent and very clean, and the toiletries like toothbrushes and bath towels were also of good quality. Being a chain hotel, it felt very reliable. The front desk is staffed 24/7, and food deliveries are handled by robots. There's also security patrolling, which made our stay feel very safe. Wanda Town was okay, not too crowded, but the front desk recommended Longquan Mountain. We drove halfway up and quickly hiked to the summit. All in all, a five-star review for this stay!"

"The shop's service was excellent; they were always ready to help with any needs. The hotel was across the bridge, and the attractions on both sides were enough to keep you entertained for a whole day. It was very pristine and not crowded at all. It was a hidden gem of a small town on this Guizhou trip. DIY papermaking: Had a blast!"

Rig Haoting Danzhai

"The moment the door was opened, the sun was shining through the window screen on the polished floor, and even the air was floating with a fresh breath. The glass on the coffee table reflects a soft light, the sofa cover is flat without a trace of folds, and the green leaves in the corner are still hanging crystal water, as if even breathing has become light. The parking lot downstairs is spacious and bright, the guidance signs are clear and eye-catching, the vehicles enter and exit smoothly, there is no need to circle around to find a parking space, every stop is like returning to a familiar harbor. The smile at the front desk was warm like a spring breeze, and the hot tea on hand dispersed the fatigue of the journey. Whether it was a consultation route or a borrowed item, you can always get a patient and meticulous response. Here, the clean room is a safe harbor, the convenient parking is intimate protection, the warm service is warm companionship, and every detail is hidden by unexpected beauty."

"As a homestay, this price matches the accommodation environment, the configuration is basically there, the boss is also very good, and the health is not bad The only downside is that the location is a bit biased, but it is not far from the Wanda town on foot. The homestay is located on a small hillside. It is not allowed to drive in by car. Fortunately, the boss came to pick us up in person. The air here is very good. Well, the folk customs are simple. Wanda Jin Hotspring Danzhai ★★★★★
"The place we visited today was beautiful and very pleasant. 🌳 The hotel's design is surrounded by stilted houses, which is very characteristic of the local ethnic group. The receptionist was very helpful and answered all our questions attentively. The breakfast in the restaurant was also very good, a combination of Chinese and Western dishes. It was a very nice experience and highly recommended!"

Guilai Inn (Wanda Town, Danzhai County, Qiandongnan) ★★★
"Nestled beside the serene Donghu Lake at Danzhai Wanda Town, this homestay is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the breathtaking scenery—lush flower fields stretching as far as the eye can see, creating a vibrant, dreamy landscape. The tranquil waters of the lake add a peaceful backdrop, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The accommodation itself is a blend of comfort and charm. The rooms are tastefully decorated, offering modern amenities while maintaining a cozy, home - like atmosphere. The hosts are incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or a family vacation, this homestay ticks all the boxes. "The room was clean, tidy and transparent, and the facilities were smart. I was very satisfied with my stay. Special thanks to Sister Wang at the front desk for sharing the local attractions. I like this hotel very much! The hotel's atmosphere is relaxing, the environment is quiet and elegant, and the hotel houses are fully equipped with smart homes, making our family particularly comfortable. Thank you Xiao Wang for your meticulous and thoughtful service at the front desk. I am very impressed. You can have breakfast in the restaurant and order food in the evening (the beef hot pot in sour soup is delicious). The service and cleaning lady in the restaurant are very polite. There are also gifts that are particularly considerate."

Vienna Hotel (Southeast Qiandong Danzhai Wanda Town) ★★★
"The hotel is located in the center of the county town, with a local night market street right outside the back entrance. It's very convenient for getting late-night snacks. The breakfast was decent, and the front desk staff patiently explained the tourist attractions to us. There were also brochures in the lobby listing all the attractions in southeastern Guizhou, along with a map. Very good! I recommend everyone to visit Danzhai."

Danzhai Shiqiao Paper Homestay (Shiqiao Ancient Papermaking Cultural Scenic Area Branch) ★★★
"The most delightful surprise was the room design and the view, definitely worth a visit. It's very quiet, perfect for a short break and relaxation; I highly recommend the panoramic room. During the day, lying in bed and enjoying the view without leaving the house feels like stepping into a Miyazaki animation. There's water nearby, and it's indescribably beautiful in the sunlight. We even saw people playing in the water and fishing, very relaxed and carefree. The room design is lovely; because the owner is Butterfly Mom, many decorations feature butterfly elements, beautiful without being tacky. I took some pictures and included them in the review. The loft is a tatami area, perfect for enjoying a drink and chatting, but there's no air conditioning, and it was too hot now, so we didn't go up much. However, it's beautiful when the sunlight streams in during the day; it would actually be more suitable for a cooler day. Both the owner and the manager were very polite and resolved any issues promptly and efficiently—very nice. Because the guesthouse's canteen was washed away by floods, meals were delivered from the village canteen, which was reasonably priced and tasted decent. It's best to have a car if you're staying here, as it's far from the city center and there aren't many shops nearby. It's best to bring your own cakes, bread, instant noodles, and drinks, as there aren't even any convenience stores nearby (which we hadn't anticipated). Shizhai isn't very developed, and perhaps because it was too hot when we visited, there weren't many people, making getting around and shopping quite inconvenient. In summary, it's suitable for a short one- or two-day getaway, for friends or families; driving is ideal, and you can be quite satisfied just by enjoying the scenery without leaving the hotel."
