Room is pretty big. However, location is upslope and thus quite tough to walk up but it’s fine as can always take didi up to the hotel. Basic and nice breakfast. Infrastructure is quite basic. Hotel happen to do some minor renovation work when we were there. But was fine as we are out mostly. Has heating pad that helps with the cold. Good view from hotel. Best part is that they do offer to and fro free transport to the railway station. Just need to inform them earlier! This hotel is also located next to a very nice restaurant just next door, up a hill. Food is great there, do go for it if you stay here!

What a wonderful little boutique hotel.  Great room, great view, comfy bed with electric blanket and big screen projector.  Very close to the ancient city and delicious traditional breakfast.  The best part was how friendly and helpful the staff were.  They gave us wonderful gifts for the New Year including red envelopes! It’s a great location, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Location is about 10mins walk to Dali ancient city and the service is warm and friendly. There is a large projector screen which I like and the room is clean and tidy. Only hope there is a door to separate the dry toilet and the room. A very good stay!

The boss is so nice! The hotel room facilities are very good, and the breakfast every morning is also great. The guy was very nice and patiently answered all the questions. The rice noodles for breakfast were also delicious. The room was spacious and bright. It was within a 15-minute walk from the ancient city of Dali. It was not noisy or remote. It was a perfect experience.

I stayed in 101 for two nights first. It was very comfortable. I decided to stay one more night. The original room type was sold out, so I changed to 103. The room was a little smaller, but of course the price was lower, but the size and feel of the bedding were the same. This one is very good, with a courtyard at the north gate. Sitting on a chair, you can see Cangshan Mountain on the left and Dali Ancient Town and Erhai Lake on the right. I really recommend it. Compared with the sea view room in Wenbi Village behind at 1,800 a night, the comfort and sense of involvement are much better. I will stay here again when I come next time. I especially thank the boss for the pick-up and charter service. It feels like an old friend. By the way, you can watch the sunrise from the roof, so you don't have to take a taxi to the pier early.
