The good is that it is in a beautiful setting with somewhat nice rooms. The bad (I don't have enough space to write it all): 1. Way overpriced for what you get. 2. Service is even worse than most hotels in Israel - and you have to work very hard to achieve that level - I heard at least 3 other guests screaming at the check-in staff for various problems and insensitivities during our stay. 3. Breakfast - was in a nice setting with very mediocre food. 4. Is close to the main street. Some of our party went to the adjacent/sister-campsite and couldn't sleep because of the noise on the road. 5. Cleaning staff was rude/pushy to our group. It is really too bad - because if the attitude of the people there changed, it would really be a wonderful place to go. Bottom line, if you are willing to put up with being treated poorly, you will probably enjoy the place.

We have been there for a two days vacation with a 12 couples trip in the north. We really enjoy the stay there and they have a very good service staff that replay to all our requests even they take care of the place for the BBQ with tables and chairs.

We decided to have a family event in that area, so we went to Kibbutz Eretz Dafna and rented about EIGHT rooms for 3-4 nights each. To make a long story short: if you ever plan to visit the north of Israel, go anywhere, BUT NOT TO KIBBUTZ DAFNA !!! Rooms were dirty, bathrooms filthy (in almost ALL of our rooms), they mixed up the prices for each room, so nobody now knows if they paid the correct price (I wasn't even offered an invoice!),. Ants in the rooms. Rooms were NEVER made up (only the towels were changed daily). TV did not work, Internet did not work, the breakfast was more than poor for what is usually offered in Israel, we were forced to sit where THEY wanted us to sit ("don't sit in the back of the dining room, so we don't need to clean that part"). When I complained, the girl at the reception did not even bother to write anything down, and while I was talking, the cleaning girl, which was standing half behind me, made faces behind my back and laughed at my complaints. IT WAS COMPLETEKLY AWFUL and if you consider that the price was about the same as for a 4-star hotel in one of the bigger towns in Central Europe it was a COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!! After THAT experience, my recommendation is to choose any other place, it can't be worse that Kibbutz Daphna. Their idea seems to be to take as much money as they can for as little service as possible... what a shame...

great place for 2 nights in the north. close by to the Golan heights, the Hula, the water (aka rivers), and the rest of the attractions. Rooms are spacious, the staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast is second to none. Especially tasty and worth mentioning, and even more worth tasting, are the dishes made by Zina. Most of the fresh dishes that are not bought are made by Zina's gifted hands, with love!! Humus, various traditional salads, and the Labane which is something else! Thank you Zina for your warmth and hospitality!

The other two hotels we stayed on this trip well-exceeded the experience at this hotel. This is a pretty basic hotel and setting as to its accommodations, few amenities, surroundings, etc. Note that it doesn't advertise itself as much more than this from my perspective. It's well-located in the North and convenient to several venues of interest that we explored, including a short visit to Metula.

Wonderful place for those who want to explore the northern part of the country. It is situated perfectly between the best hiking trails, mountains and attractions. The place really caters to those who come to travel/Hike/Explore. The staff was warm, friendly and very professional. The breakfast was very fresh, divers, healthy and tasty. The place was kept at a really high speck. And it seems that every complaint they ever received was given the outmost attention and was taken care of immediately. It was clean, friendly and just perfect. We all had a great time. Even our dog who was very happy to enjoy this wonderful trip with us.

We paid almost 3,000 shekels a night because we planned to have a nice family weekend. they put us a room (210) on the reception, literally on the same place, our grass was the reception grass. we didn’t have privacy, we couldn’t sit outside, our kids couldn’t play, people were sitting there, smoking. The manager “couldn’t help” and didn’t know if we will be able to switch room on the next day, on Friday night we wanted to watch TV, but the remote wasn’t the right one!! And of course no one there to help. they refused to give us a compensation of any kind and charged a full price on this disgusting experience.

The location is great, close to every single attraction in the north. The open areas are very nice and service was good in all aspects. Good food quality. Pet friendly. There are small improvements that could make it better taking into account that it’s a travelers hotel - the room maintenance could be better. TVs have a bad image, remote controls missing, some windows don’t lock and cleanness could be better.
