While it is a budget hostel, and the location is a bit of a walk inside the back street, I did not expect it to be too luxury or anything special. What was strange was that eventhough I arrived before 10PM, there was nobody at the reception desk, and I had to call to be able to speak with someone for check in and being directed to a self check in machine. With my broken korean language skill, it was difficult but I made it at the end. The room has some black moulds and I had to plug off the mini fridge to be able to use the power point to charge my phone, mini fan and whatever else. And in the morning that mini fridge has produced some water on the floor after being thawed. Towels were provided but they were smelly. The bottom of the toilet were not sealed properly to the floor (the sillicone joint has worn off). The room is in need of renovation. I managed to do the self check out when I went downstairs the next morning (with the same machine). Then I realised I couldn’t get out via the entrance door that I got in the night before, because it was locked at around 11AM. After I rang the owner again, he directed me to leave by the back door. Then I was trying to find my way at the back area to go out to the street and catch a taxi. This hostel by far was the worst place I have stayed ever. I was glad I only booked for 1 night.

Good localization

Good enough for the price. If you are arriving late or early, make sure you contact the host in advance. They really close at 10 pm and opens the next day after 8 am. I almost was not able to enter, if not for other Korean guests who called the receptionist. Also, I did not feel safe with the combination lock. Somebody else who knows the combination can just enter the room.

It's close to the bus stop, and just a short bus ride from the airport. The bus was convenient for getting around. It's good value for money, but I'm concerned about hygiene and wouldn't recommend it for people who like cleanliness. It might be good for solo travelers who just need a place to sleep. I'm not sure if the pillowcase wasn't changed or if the smell had permeated the pillow, but the pillow had body odor, so I ended up not using it. The slippers were also unusable. I recommend bringing your own. Flip-flops are even more convenient, as you can shower in them. I never met the owner, but the signs and chalkboard notices are easy to translate into my native language and contain all the necessary information. There were many good things about the place, too. There was free water in the refrigerator, and if you run out, there was a water dispenser, so water was always free. There was also hot water and a microwave. There were no bath towels, only face towels, but if you run out, there were spares near the reception desk, or you could ask the cleaning staff for some. The cleaning staff only spoke Korean, but they were very kind.

There was nothing particularly bad about it, but... As soon as I entered the room, there was a strange smell. The futon sheets were clean and not dirty, but the whole room smelled like sweat and I couldn't sleep. Everyone at the inn was kind, and other than the smell, there was nothing bad about it.

When I made the reservation, I thought it looked like a Korean-style B&B. There was no luggage storage service, and there were no trash cans in the room. All garbage must be disposed of by yourself.

The facilities are facilities, but the noise from the surrounding rooms The smell of cigarettes... It was so hard that I woke up early in the morning and came out.

Comfortable and spacious hotel!!!!!!!!! Close to Ximen Market and other attractions, the location is convenient, and the rooms are neat, clean and comfortable!

There is a strong musty smell

It's a little far from the station. There are no convenience stores nearby. The counter is often empty. It takes a very long time to wait for hot water, but the only advantage is that the price is relatively cheap. If you can bear it, just stay and check it out.

Although there is a counter, it is not very functional. To call a taxi, you have to go through the trip customer service staff to show up. The contact information left is completely useless.

The hotel is relatively close to Seomun Market Station. Because Daegu is not very big and is suitable for walking, I think the location of the hotel is good. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk to Jungangro. The nearby Banwoldang Station is very lively. In terms of location I highly recommend it. However, the drainage system of the hotel bathroom is very poor. The entire bathroom is flooded and it takes a long time for the water to recede. I thought it was due to the large amount of water used in the shower, but just brushing your teeth and washing your face will still flood. This really makes People are put off, I hope the hotel can improve!
