Beautiful resort located on the north of the island I prefer to stay here because the beach is nicer, you can easily hire a bike or walk to the different parts of the island Friendly staff and the food is tasty Con: The dorm won't allow A/C usage if fewer than 4 people are in the room.

nice accomodation. The staff are very helpful . I have a great stay in here. A good place to do the Kayak and Paddle board activities. a a great Acoustic music being played in the afternoon.

I am frustrated with how they treat guests who want to check in early. I know there is a policy to follow for the check-in hours, especially for peak days. Hence, it would be better if they were more lenient for days when lesser customers were waiting. We waited for six long hours before we checked into our room. Nobody bothered to check on us if we were exhausted after a 4-hour drive from the Metro. Other than the challenges with the check-in process, the foods were great but a little pricey. Overall, I will come back not for their service but for the front beach location

It's very bad. The store refused to communicate effectively. I don't recommend you to stay here. There is a better solution but they refuse to solve it. In short, it's an extremely bad experience

1. The beach is good, the best in Malapuskua; 2. The location is inconvenient, far from the pier and the market, there are no shops nearby, decent places where you can dine, not at the hotel, either; 3. Food in the hotel restaurant is expensive (1.5-2 times higher than on the south side) and poorly prepared; 4. It is better not to take breakfast - either rotten ham or burnt rice; 5. Upon arrival, you will be surprised to learn that you need to sign a document with a bunch of "not allowed" - in particular, do not bring anything to eat and drink into the room, only bought from them at three prices, otherwise the "cork" fi in the amount of 1000 pesos and a lot of things from 10-12 points; 6. The rooms are clean, the plumbing is in good condition, there is hot water with a very low degree of salinity; 7. In general, all the negative reviews on the Google map for the hotel are true. I do not recommend the hotel for booking, only if the priority is to have a good beach.

We had a great lunch here. Sitting at the front overlooking the beach. Staff were really super friendly. Great fresh juices. Great Nasi Goreng and Chicken Burger. Service was really quick. Great place to eat lunch or dinner. Really good prices too

Far too expensive, and not worth it. A deluxe room worth P3,500 no tv and ref. Must pay in cash because they’re gonna charge 5% for every transaction if you pay by card. If you’re going to dine at the restaurant you better bring water with you. Every room for two is entitled only for 2 glasses of water and 1 refill. If you ask for more they’re gonna charge P25/pitcher. Where in the world are you gonna find a restaurant charging a customer for the water? Only at D Avilas Horizon. Not going back and advise all my friends and relatives not to go there. By the way, our room has a free plated breakfast but it took them 1 hour and 18 minutes for our food to be served which consists only of tocino, egg, and rice. They well also charge corkage fee of P500/item and the owners are not friendly.

i want absolutely to rate their restaurant even if i didn't stayed in the resort because i like the people that put love in their job. fish always fresh and prepared properly, landscape amazing, service welcoming and friendly, cheapest prices on the island. filipino kitchen you must try.

I don't understand the low score. The structure is welcoming and clean, the rooms are spartan but comfortable and have a terrace with armchairs. The restaurant is excellent: everything is well cooked, generous portions and also cheap. The beach is the most beautiful on the island without a doubt. The staff is friendly. They also have a laundry service. My friends went diving and were very satisfied with both the experience and the cost. The only flaw: the roosters start crowing early in the morning and the rooms overlook the courtyard where the chicken coop is. I often saw the sunrise.
